Why should Joshua Gracin be the American Idol? First and foremost I must ask "why not"? Simon's biggest criticism to date has been that he "doesn't know who he is. Is he country? Is he pop?" Why, YES Simon he is! He IS country! He IS pop! He is whatever he chooses to be on any given night. And, after all, Isn't THAT what an American Idol should be? The epitome of versatility? (Think Kelly Clarkson here, who each week floored us with her different sounds! I know THAT was one major reason I voted for her week after week)
He wowed us with "I'll Be" and then turned around and floored us once more with "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing". Since I don't see disco making a comeback anytime soon, I think he is safe from being overly criticized for his one sub-par performance. Josh has this special spark that appeals to everyone: All ages and fans of all genres. He's an eloquent speaker in interviews and has a maturity about him you can't help but respect. His delivery on songs, the passion he evokes, is something lacking in many of the others performances. So why should Joshua Gracin be the American Idol? Plain and simple: He is the best of each of the contestants all rolled up into one nice neat little package. Oooh~Rah! -------------------- |

i think you are right he can be very different and that is nice, but i think that simon is worried about the fact that if he changes his voice too much people won't recognize him, that when they here a song that they connot say that's josh right away. and having a voice that people can recogniz very well, that sells, but i like his versatality, it's exciting to see every week what he will do next

I strongly AGREE. Joshua is the one who makes sense on all levels. I vote only for him. He is versatile and talented, and he just looks good. It's good timing and what America needs right now - a good, humble, human representative. And I'm not saying we need a marine -I'm saying we need this man to represent us - he demonstrates qualities and values that America thrives on - he demonstrates why freedom is a precious gift. His loyalty to his family is priceless in this age where divorce hits 1/2 of all marriages. His love for his baby is priceless in this age where kids are aborted or abandoned or abused. His soul and passion is felt when he sings. He just makes sense, America!

Vote for Joshua Gracin, American Idol #2.

I'm happy to say I know Joshua and his mom and dad personally. He is what you see and I only vote for him also. Known him and his mom and dad Mario for years.

I'm 22 and all the way from Singapore..
and YES ***Joshua Gracin*** should be the next American Idol! and for those who have not heard...you can look at the 1st ever un-official fansite supported by Hadas Shalev http://hadas.2ya.com ,You can download her un-released tracks...which really show how good she is...and get to know and see more of Hadas! Take care guys..and let's see how it all goes the next few weeks! can't wait for the final 2 to sing that final song! --------------------
All I wanna do is to sing nicely but I was not born with the voice.
So...I hide in my room,sing to myself,pretending I can. |

I don't want either Clay or Ruben to win. Ruben just annoys me. How can Simon say Josh is fat and needs to lose weight when Ruben in like more than twice his size. Ruben needs to lose weight. I think its disgusting. I personally want Kimberly Locke to win because she has made such a HUGE improvement. I think Josh is good too and I want him and Kimberly in the top two but Josh is the runner up and Kimberly wins.
