'Idol' Season 1 finalists EJay Day and RJ Helton answered your questions Thursday afternoon. Read their responses below!

You can also meet EJay and RJ, as well as Rickey Smith from"American Idol 2" at the Mall of Georgia's Village Pavilion from 4 p..m to 8 p.m. Friday and at the Rich's Macy's court in Lenox Mall from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. At both sites, the trio will perform, answer questions and help out with karaoke and trivia contests.

From Regina Kline: What are you guys doing outside of american idol to further your musical careers?

RJ: As far as I go, I'm working on my album right now and working on a movie as well. I'm staying busy with those things.

EJay: I've been in the studio recording aproject and performing a lot a different events. We're doing the Coke tour, and the next thing is an event called Grad Night at Sea World. I've had a couple of record offers, but I want to do my own thing right now.

From Sheri: Have you any interest in doing a film?

RJ: The movie I'm doing is called Mrs. Johnson. Donna Douglas is the writer and it's such a great script. We're shooting some in Atlanta and some in L.A. They're think maybe a spring release for next year.

EJay: Of course. Anything that has to do with acting. I've acted in high school and college. I did Little Shop of Horrors and Grease. As far as films, I don't want to do anything that's based on me as a singer. I'd like to do drama.

From Jenni: How has this experience changed your life? Has anything negative come from this experience?

RJ: I'm able to pay my bills! Also, the opportunities I've had this past year, as opposed to a year ago . . . You can't beat that. I love getting paid to do what I love to do. It's a dream come true. Being in the Enquirer was like the only negative thing, but I guess you know you've made it.

EJay: Doors are a lot easier to open. If I want to go to a record label, they'll listen. You're always going to have negative people on, like, message boards. And you always have to look good. Those are the only negatives.

From Jaqueline: I took my thirteen year old daughter to see you in Nashville ( a 5 hr. drive) and paid $450 for three tickets! That's how much of a fan she is! Ironically, she has an exceptional voice herself and I am taking her to try out for Junior Idol. What advice can you give her on any and everything, including song choice? Thank you.

RJ: Don't be a stage Mom, don't push them. Let them be themselves, and expect negative criticism. For the daughter, don't try to be another Whitney or Mariah. Just be yourself.

EJay: Sing something that's impressive, because you don't really have time to show yourself. Be right on point as soon as you start singing.

From Lawrenceville, for EJay: I was wondering when you were gonna come back to the Boys & Girls Club? Have you talked to any of your old friends from there? Oh and by the way, all us Lawrenceville people are real proud of you!! Black knights for life!

EJay: Of course, I'll be up there. Right now, I'm traveling like crazy, but eventually I'll be there. That's where I started singing!

From Eddie Robbins, for RJ: Do you have a Christian CD coming out soon? Thanks for your hospitality when Missi and Marie saw you in Seattle.

RJ: My album actually will be out in the fall and the single will be released to Christian and pop radio in June. the album's on Gospocentric, the same label as Kirk Franklin. I've got some really cool producers working on it. It's such a process! But I think I'm in my element.

From Janet: What do you guys think of this season's American Idol and who are you rooting for?

RJ: I don't hear Kelly and Tamyra in this group. We had three singers, including EJay that just blew everyone away. I was hoping the top two would be Ruben and Clay, and I'm hoping Ruben will take it. He's just got that classic voice, that Luther sound.

EJay: They're not better than us. It's not the same. We already know what's going to happen. We know that Simon's going to say something stupid. To me, there's no superstars, anybody that I'd go see in concert. I think Clay will win, just because of TV. It'd be cool if Ruben wins, but it's very politcal. I don't know. That's just me.

From Kasey: Please tell us what has been the most fun part about hanging out with each other on this tour?

RJ: For EJay and I, the original Idols as I call us, we've already have this realtionship. It's a very laid-back atmosphere this tour, as opposed to the arena tour. We get to just chill. we have security, but it's not crazy like the arenas. I can wear jeans, or shorts if I want. It's cool.

EJay: Absolutely nothing! He just plays with his dog all day. No, it's really cool, just seeing everybody. We've hung out with Jim, Kristin Holt, Charles. I'll never forget last year. Having to get up at like 5:30 in the morning was really bad.

From Pam:Do you believe Ruben was almost eliminated?

EJay: I have one word for you: TV.

RJ: P.S, it is a script! He's a favorite, but it's like last year. Do you really think Justin should have been in the top 3? I loved frenchie, and I do believe she would have taken it.
