  1. I haven’t watched Idol properly in a while but I heard about this and remembered Alyssa so got curious Lmao who cares about Idol 3.0 put her on House of Villains!
  2. I’ll never forget the premiere of Season 29 where my elation for Chrishell turned to horror in the space of 90 seconds
  3. If Chrishell made the endgame I was really considering ranking her #1
  4. I think it’s a clear Marisha/Zeze boot unfortunately which is a bummer and a bit of a downer pre-final. Nikita’s a lock for the finals and I still have a feeling Fern’s really pulling in the votes. I’m going to give my votes to Zeze and hope for the best. The fact that she made it to the final week is a bit of a miracle but then it helps she never hit the block. I don’t trust the public would have kept her. And Marisha’s toast, she’s getting all the hits for staying silent while Bradley coasts to the final after doing nothing.
  5. James Hinchcliffe James had a good run here! Just like the run he had on Season 23. The win was pretty much a lock for Laurie that season but kudos to James, I think he went in with some of the least ‘recognition’ to the audience and he put up a fight for that mirrorball. So much so that I thought he could have pulled an upset by the end. While he was maybe the finalist I was rooting for least at the time that season, I’ve said before and still think this was one of our strongest top fours. The famous Harley Quinn dance that had social media obsessed for months is probably the most memorable of his routines, but he had a very consistent and strong run. I’m glad he was able to have a good showing here, but the way the remaining noms stacked up, he was just at the bottom of my list to keep. Save Amber Riley
  6. Will take a moment to work out who’s remaining
  7. Melissa Rycroft Melissa Rycroft definitely has one of my favorite 'arcs' in DWTS history. Last-minute casting, ends up making the final, comes back for All-Stars as a much more confident individual and takes the trophy. Unfortunately putting all that aside, she was a target for me this round with some of the recent noms and cuts. Season 8 was a great start for Melissa, by coincidence she lands on the show and she's still not exactly used to fame. I mean one of her intro packages one week is her going to her office job to pack up her belongings because she's now on DWTS (scripted I'm sure but when else do you get that!). And she shines out the gate. Tony's a great partner for her, super encouraging and clearly he's been waiting for a good partner since Stacy. She's probably my #3 favorite in hindsight of that season behind Shawn and Lil' Kim, and while both Shawn and Gilles had higher highs in the dancing for me that season, Melissa is definitely up there. The run to third place considering she started an unknown is super impressive. And then Melissa comes back for All-Stars. Fully formed, back with Tony, ready to kill it. I actually think she takes a little bit of time to come out her shell this season. The group is packed with greats and she delivers solid performances but doesn't have that wow moment to me for a while. I think it's her Viennese Waltz on Country Night which made it all click for me. Then the trio Paso. The Argentine Tango, and so on. And she does it while battling injuries. Again I don't think Melissa leaves this season my #1, but she's right up there. She has this warrior spirit and determination to prove herself in All-Stars which makes her a great champion. All that being said she has been on my radar and I knew it'd be a cut I'd have to make if the chance did arise. Save Monique Coleman
