Did anyone else noticed the new lyrics that were missing from the remix? Its a nice prelude building up to the chorus.

It goes something like this:

I've decided both versions will be great with a strong hook! I highly suspect they will put the remix on itunes or why would of RCA approached Maison and Dragen in the first place. It will be an added bonus for everybody. Can't wait!!

yeah, it may be available as a sort of bonus track on his album whenever it's released on iTunes

Kris did not mention a specific date, all he said was late Feb. Based on that blog from KBIG, I'm guessing that RCA has already sent (or is in the process of sending) the song to radio. It would be nice if it gets played on radio stations before its release on itunes. My preference is for the song to drop on itunes a few weeks after its adds date, just like the LLWD timeline. I'm wary of the song being released on itunes w/o any support from radio spins.

Looking back at the TT thread, it was listed in FMQB with a CHR adds date of "May TBD" on the first week of May and 3 weeks later finally got an adds date of June 1. So we might be looking at an adds date for the last week of this month and I would'nt be surprised if it rolls over to the first week of March. I'm eager for this song to start getting radio spins ahead of the actual adds date.

I was checking the you-tube videos of VOL remix and found a comment like the following.
" I heard this song at the bebe store at my mall =)". The user is in the U.S(according to the profile) and doesn't strike me as a core Kris fan.

I don't know what is going on with this re-mix thing.
Do you think RCA already distibuted some mixed promo CDs for shopping malls and whatnot ?

I'm with you, I'm wary of the song being released on iTunes before radio spins get underway... I'd rather people get a little familiar with the song from their radio and then have it debut on iTunes.

Hopefully, the song begins to get radio adds next week or the week after!

Yeah, it'd be too early. But I'd like to believe what the u-tube user wrote because , unless some random shop owner played the song he/she downloaded from you-tube because he's a fan, it could mean that RCA took the Maison&Dragen mix and they are planning to push it , like NOW.
I know there's no solid evidence though.

I don't think it can hurt Kris at all..(if that is the case). All for the better if non Kris fans are digging it. It's just more attention for Kris. I'm sure Kris's release is not far behind. It was RCA and Kris that approached them to do the remix...so in other words, it was their idea. It just makes Kris look innovative and willing to try different things.

I would die happy if I heard the VOL Banjo country remix. *sarcasm*

I suspect VOL could be pushed back a couple of weeks. It happens very often.
I have a feeling that RCA thinks Kris' album is a good fit for summer vacation.
