I've had this problem for a couple of months, but since it's nothing terrible, I never asked about it. However, it kind of got annoying, so I just wanted to ask, am I the only one who has this problem? I'm using Firefox, and sometimes after I post, I can't see the images or emoticons I used, even though I know they are here because when I want to edit the post, the codes/links for them are still there. When I post more than one image (for example in a redux), I can only see the very first one/ones and the rest of them is hidden. It also happens with other people's posts, too. It's not always like that, because sometimes the images do load properly, but sometimes they are hidden again and I don't know why. I asked my friend if he sees the images in my posts, and he said that he does, so it's only happening on my computer. I've also checked it on Google Chrome, and everything is alright, too. So my question is, does anybody know why Firefox keeps doing that and is there any way I could fix it? unsure.gif I've been using Firefox for years and I don't want to use a different browser just to go on IDF. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

did you try clearing out your cache? unsure.gif I'm not sure if that will help, but you could try it.

Do you have AdBlock or some addon like that? If you do then maybe certain sites have been blocked, you could try disabling it and refreshing the page to see if they show up then

Yeah, I just tried to do this smiley :-D without the - and it's not showing up for me anymore. Even when I just click on the smiley. It shows up as the text when I'm posting/editing, but the actual graphic doesn't show up.

Other smilies work, however. Like this. lmao.gif

I'm on Firefox.

I hope so. I am now having the same problem OP is having, as far as pictures not showing up. I just posted some, and they don't show up for me.

I didn't update Firefox or anything like that, so I don't know why this is suddenly happening.

I did update Java recently, and "MetaStream 3 Plugin" was automatically disabled, because it was causing too many crashes on Firefox. Doubt that that being disabled is related to these IDF problems, though.

Ok, I do have AdBlock Plus running. I disabled it on just the page I posted the images on. I refreshed the page and the images still don't show up. So that's not it.

I also tried disabling it everywhere on IDF, and I exited the page & then opened it again and the images still aren't showing up.

Ok, once I did that and actually exited Firefox and came back again, it worked.

So I guess you have to disable AdBlock Plus on Firefox, exit Firefox, then go back again.

I don't mind Ads, or even the occasional pop up. However, the reason I got AdBlock in the first place here, is because there were ads that kept causing Firefox to crash, and also there were a lot of talking ones, which is really hard to deal with when you're trying to listen to music or watch a video. Hopefully that's not happening as much now.

I'm not at home right now, but I know I have an Adblock, so I will try to disable it and then check if it helps.

I'm just hoping there aren't any "infectious" ads on IDF anymore, otherwise my antivirus will start blocking it.
