I was out to dinner so I missed most of the show. I did however come in right before the Clark Brothers, WOW! now that was the greatest thing on that show, I became a fan and I want them to win. Not that I care cause they should have better bands IMHO, but The Clark Brothers are great!!!

The Clark Brothers were awesome tonight. Ashley sings with such emotion. Gave me goosebumps. And their musicianship .... just wow!

I did like Dot Dot Dot tonight but Ashley's vocals blew every other band away except maybe Sixwire, but I still give the best performance to the Clark Brothers.

I agree with everything to said happycat . Ashley's vocal's and the whole band's musicianship blew all the other bands out of the water, Performance of the night goes to The Clark Brothers .

I thought they were alright. I think they need to get a drummer and put a beat with their songs. All their performances have felt empty without the drums or percussions from cymbals to me.

You know, I haven't missed a drummer! I think Ashley has used his fiddle to keep beat. One of the brothers plays the keyboard too, I don't know if we will get to hear that though.

great episode Although I was a tad dissapointed to see Rocket go, like the judges said, if the singer got a few lessons they'd be great. Anyways, here's what I thought:


Franklin Bridge- It was obvious that they struggled with that song. They seriously need to go home soon, they're not right for this show

Cliff and the old number 7 - I dislike this band, I can't figure out who's voting for them. They've got to leave next week

Denver and the mile high- The more I see this band the more I like. The music isn't totally for style, but the singer has a great voice and the music is refreshing. I wouldn't mind seeing them in the finale

Dot Dot Dot- Yay! They made it I love them. While I wasn't fully crazy about the song they sung, they sounded great. They must win. I'm voting now

Sixwire- My second favorite. They sounded great. I love their country/pop/rock mix

Tres Bien- I haven't cared for them up to now, but I actually rather liked them this week. They sounded really good

The Clark Brothers- They sounded great too. I think Sixwire is a little better, but they're not far behind

Light of Doom- Why are they still hear? The gimmick is getting old really fast. They're not good at all. Get rid of them already

To me it is obvious that The Clark Brothers and Sixwire are professional ringers using this show for publicity before releasing an album. Neither needed this show to get a record contract. And both will have professional success. I am pretty sure that both bands have had members with sucess in Nashville in the past.

Correct. The lead singer of the Clark Bros. has played with Carrie Underwood and Sixwire was signed to Warner Bros. at one point.

Yesterday was the first time I really watched this show for more than a couple of minutes, but after seeing the recap at the end, it looks like the typical kind of talent you find on Idol to an extent, some impressive people and some mediocre and boring ones. The only one I was really impressed with was those little kids, Light of Doom, considering how young they are, they did amazing, it gave me chills. That lead singer you can tell is going to be a hottie when he grows up, lol. They're just adorable. One of my old college suitemates is from Escondido, I wonder if she knows them.

Dot Dot Dot was amazing last night!

I'm glad that The Muggs and Rocket went home yesterday. I'm hoping that Cliff Wagner and the Old # 7 will go home next week.

Old No 7 is definetely the next to GO! I was sleeping with Dicko last night. OK, that didn't sound right
Clark Bros and Franklin Bridge were great. Ashley is Jared Leto/ my so called life HOTNESS. yeah
and they are way talented too, I think they will win it.

Ashley Clark has played with Carrie but not sung with her to my knowledge.
The three brothers formed their own group - I know 2 of them have played with Carrie but not all three. Kind of like Melinda was a backup singer to the Winans or whoever it was she toured with. Same as Jordin, who opened for Michael Smith.

As far as lead singers go, Ashley and the Sixwire lead singer have the best vocals. I love Ashley's voice -
it is full of soul, just like Dicko said.

Next week should be interesting. I looked at the songs that have been written by the musicians for next week's theme. Elvis, and a lot of R&B. Could be anyone's game next week!

I disagreed with the bands sent home. I thought that Cliff and the old number 7, and Denver and the mile high or Light of Doom should have left. Rocket needed vocal improvement but they had something there. And the Muggs were better than those other bands.

Here are my rankings:

1. Dot Dot Dot I LOVE them! I love their style of music and their performances! I like their style of clothing too! They never let me down!
2. Sixwire. They are really good as well.
3. The Clark Brothers They're pretty cool.
4. Tres Bien They have their weeks where they could do better but overall I like them.

5. Franklin Bridge Eh they don't do much for me. I think I liked them maybe one week? They're my sis' fave though.

6. Light of Doom/Denver and the Mile High- Light of Doom has bad vocals but atleast they give good performances. Denver and the Mile High sounds better but they're boring. So these 2 are about the same for me. I wouldn't miss either of them.

8. Cliff and the old number 7- UGH. They make me fall asleep. Just leave.

I agree, they dont need a drummer. I dont think that even fits heritage music, lol. Its nice to see something different.

Now there's an interesting comment. Considering they'r a BAND, exactly how are they not right for a show that showcases BANDS?
