I wonder what J Records plan on doing to promote the album. Gallery is in heavy rotation, but Mario still doesn't seem visible enough.

^But the whole album (with the excepting of Cohiba IMO) is good.

In fact, that's the point of the lead single. His record label made probably the worst mistake I have ever seen in promotion for the album. 1) They released the video for the Baby Bash version of the single, a song which ISNT EVEN ON THE FREAKIN CD! 2) He had very little week of/prior to release pub. He started coming on a few things here and there a week after the album dropped. 3) They didn't push "Gallery" enough, it should have been a HUGE hit. It's very comparable to Mario's "Let Me Love You" which was a SMASH hit. And for he record Mario(nor Vazquez, just plain "Mario") sold a lot of albums and was very visible. His CD was no better than Mario Vazquez', "Let Me Love You" was about the only hit on there. 4) Target market. The album is a tweener album. It's not quite pop and its not quite R&B. Cohiba is the second most commercial song on the album but it's targeted at the R&B audience when most his fans probably favor more of the pop style songs (Like "One Shot", which is a real good song). J Records/RCA sucks at promotion. Their business model is primarily to let the music sell itself. New artists like Mario Vazquez need a little bit of help to get things rollin' and they did nothing to help him. --------------------
