oh so THAT'S what song it was. I thought it was original when I searched it and couldn't find the lyrics. It was really good, though. I think it was the best original I've heard from him.

I was stoked when Aaron sang "It's Gonna Rain" last night in the IICD house..I have half of the recorded version of the song as my ringtone. And yes, Aaron did record it already...he recorded it back in December I think it was. It was on his myspace but of course they had to take it down because of Idol.....hopefully they put his originals back up soon. The story behind that song is so touching....and I remember the first time I heard the song, my grandma was having some health issues at the time, needless to say it got me good! haha.
but yeah LOVEEE that song.

oh and, I googled the song (to see if maybe it was still floating around, idk) and I read that it was for his mom, who lost two brothers to a car crash like, twenty years apart and her sister to cancer. so sad.

Highlights of last night's if i can dream party. i didn't get to watch a lot of it because my computer kept freezing. Too much traffic at the site, I guess. Please feel free to add on to or correct these.

1. Aaron and the others arrived and he was probably tired. He was yawning and doing these side stretches.

2. When he got there, he attacked the food table right away. You could tell he was hungry. Also during dinner, when he was sitting around with the other idols, you could tell they all really like Aaron a lot. Lee I think was teasing him and said he doesn't really say much:)
Lee sat next to Aaron at the dinner table and was like: "Aaron Kelly's in the house. You're not saying much bro." I liked that he tried to involve Aaron, it seems that everyone does in fact genuinely like Aaron.

3. After dinner, he went to the music room with Justin. And he sang his original song amazingly! Everyone got really quiet for like the entire five minutes that he played. Then they applauded and Didi said "That was so pur-dy Aaron!!" That song will be a hit, seriously.

4. Aaron is taken to a guest room to be interviewed. He talks about song writing and how he likes to co-write. He's a melody guy and he said some of his earlier work was "trash" and his best work was after he broke up with his ex for cheating on him. He then talks about going for idol even if you're young.

5. Twitter sessions with the rest of the idols. He is looking chipper and happy.

6. He wanders around and ends up playing foosball with Casey. He is adorable and loses twice. It seems like he's never done this much though, but he was having fun.

7. He then goes to the kitchen and drinks an energy drink, hangs out there a while and eats chocolate.

8. He wanders to the blue room and talks to Casey, wanders to the music room and leaves, ends up in the blue room with Big Mike. By the end of the night, he was looking hyper from his energy drink, pending an eventual sugar crash.

9. He left his jacket at the house!!!

I really loved at the Tweet Session when the question was: "Who's the biggest stud/player?" Then everyone on the couch answered with a loud "AARON!" Made my day lol.

I hate this crap! People are putting up tapes of Siobhan's long ass jam session and Lee's jam session, and also that crappy Mike and Casey jam session but no one is putting up Aaron's.

Even as i was watching it live, the video jumped from Justin's(right before Aaron) to Alex, Casey, and Mike in the bedroom. Then when it went back to the blue room Aaron had just finished his session.
