Someone tweeted that on one site Anoop's song "Single" had 15,000 downloads! However, people did not pay for this. PLEASE if you want Anoop's music and can't afford it, go to the gifting thread at anoopdesai.com. There are many people there who would be HAPPY to gift it to you! Anoop's an independent artist and he really needs the support!

I read that he sold less than a thousand copes the first week- and that's not unusual for an Idol who puts out his own stuff so it has nothing to do with the quality of the music I actually liked "My Name" alot- it is so bizarre how millions will vote on them but they won't purchase the music the next year. I wish him luck.
