I personally hope it doesn't happen. Why should Amanda and David have to compete against semi finalists for a spot on the tour? Haven't they already earned it from making the top 12? And it doesn't seem like either of them are really interested in doing this in the first place. I've heard Amanda has already commented on it by claiming she doesn't care for it if it happens and David has commented that he's "moved on" from Idol. I don't know, but I'm not liking the idea at all. Possibly one of the worst ideas Idol has ever had, if it's true.
