Thanks for making this thread.
 Oh geez last year on my birthday I had it. (great, huh?) I had the worst cramps omg I was dying. It took like 2 hours for pain killers to kick it. I was freeking up for hours at night I was like freaking out.    --------------------

my boobs hurt like hell everytime before my period comes and i would have really bad skin. it's never on time, either too early or too late. and i get really bad cramps during my period
 the doctor suggests me to go on the pill, but my parents say it's 'unatural' so they won't let me take it  --------------------
i have no siggy :)

Gahhh this has been the WORST period for me. I'm going to go on a total rant, okay? Okay.
-WORST cramps. I've felt like I was going to die. -I never have to use more than a regular tampon for the max 6-8 hours. This week its been leaking in 3, and I've had to resort to using super. GAH. -I had my first leak ever the other day at school. Got a lovely spot on the back of my jeans. So I tied my sweatshirt around my waist and faked a stomach ache so I could go home. -I've had rehearsals for 3 hours from 6-9, so it's extra torture. Normally I get home from school, put on sweats or pjs, and just relax. Now I have to get home, cram in homework, go to rehearsal until 9 PM, then get home and do more homework. -Did I mention TERRIBLE cramps? I don't want to move. I have them right now and it's TERRIBLE!!! -I'm starting to get a few zits. I always break out before or during my period. It's so nasty. I never get zits. -I'm totally bloated and living in my sweatpants until the week is over. Why God, why? The joy of being a girl. Ok so mine came in school on thursday and I didn't have anything with me.....and i was in PAINNNNNNNN
so I was cautious because I was afraid it would go through  but luckly it didn't too much..but I HATE the PAINNNNN and oh I've actually had to take pain medicine for this one...I usually NEVER get cramps this bad but ughh this month has been bad!! I woke up at like 12:30 at night after going to bed at 10:30 and it hurt so bad I couldn't go back to sleep til like 2:30. Ugh I hate having my period. The worst part of having it was when I got it for the first time in summer '05 when I was at a resident camp.
It was horrible because I had NO idea it was going to happen then, and I didn't bring any pads/tampons so I went through all of my underwear which I had to re wear until I was able to go home since they couldn't get a wash in for me. Lucky my cabin conselour had the night off so she got me some stuff when she went out that night.--------------------  credit: nicole-catherine

I had my first period when I was 11 (fall, 2000). I was literally a few weeks into the sixth grade, I was trying to get adjusted, and I get my period. It wasn't fun at all. I hated dealing with it when I had gym class.
Mine always seem to land on either the perfect time or the worst possible time. Like the last time I had it, it was New Year's Eve, I was on vacation, and its just...ugh..do you have to come now?? Most of the time I get it when I go to the beach.
Summer of 05 I had it when I went on vacation and I was laying down on the bed in the hotel with severe cramps. Omfg I took cramp medicine and it didn't kick in for an hour. Once time my friend said she had bad cramps during school and went down to the nurse to get cramp medicine and she laid down for a while at the nurses office since she had really bad cramps and the nurse called her aunt (she lives with her aunt btw) and said she should get a vaginaoskopy (sp?)and checked out because there is something wrong with her because she had bad cramps.
