What a night. Only one thing I feel bad about and that was not being able to get over to the ice cream event Judy had lined up. We were not sure what to expect after the 7pm show, but then we went backstage and they had a lot of people there with press talking to him, a lot of picture taking and next thing you knew it was time for 2nd show. So I apologize for us not getting over there. Just didn't realize all that would be going on. Saw many of you and glad we were able to chat, for the ones we didn't see thank you for coming. It does mean a lot that he has such supportive fans who have been there through thick and thin. And that includes those that couldn't come and maybe listened on wsmradio or were just busy. Life is busy, but all of you have supported Scotty in so many ways. It is appreciated. It was a quick trip for us. Arrived Saturday at 1pm and left Sunday morning at 11am. Too quick, but it is what it is. For anyone in the Texas area that may be thinking of going to Austin or Pasadena May 17th and 18th I'll be with him at those shows so if you go look for me, I might have Avery with me. Thanks again for supporting my son like you do. As Scotty said when he won one of his awards....McCreerians you "still" rock!!!

This is the week. Nervous about the gap, but we will see. The next couple of days will tell the story. Sam needs to accelerate the drop while CIAS continues to climb. Fingers crossed.

A lot of good songs to choose from this album, but I absolutely LOVE Slow Dance. Have heard them all and this is in top 2 (for me) of all he's done.

Loving see CIAS now Top 15 and now at the point for "most" songs you don't have to wait for recurrencies to pass songs heading down. On another note, can't wait for y'all to hear Slow Dance. Wow is all I can say. Album cut is in my opinion the most beautiful song he has released. Lyrics, instruments, vocals....did I say wow yet?

Just heard back from Scott Stem....he will air in the first 10 minutes of the show. Again depending on market is when GMA3 airs.

He will be on GMA3 and it shows at different times depending on the market you are in. I'm trying to find out when during the show he will sing.

Hey y'all. Hope everyone is well and has a Happy Thanksgiving. Things are fine with the song. Obviously after 120 adds on week one I think a lot of us (me included) got very excited that this chart run could be a little different, but the reality is there are very few artists that go up the charts at will (regardless of how good or bad their songs are). He is simply not one of those artists and that's ok. Many artists are struggling and it's even worse now that several artists are allowed to have multiple songs on the charts at the same time. He is still in what I call the breaker zone, but close to getting out of it. Think of the waves at the ocean. You have to get past the breakers before the water gets calmer. If you don't get past the breakers they push you back and you try again. Same with radio. You have to get into the top 30 before things smooth out. It used to be mid 30's. The A list artists are able to have a huge week and jump in front of you if you are in the 30's. It knocks you back and then you have to climb again to get back where you were. Once inside the top 30 he will get extra spins and I think will be beyond the reach of those new songs having a great first week and jumping in front of his song. Radio has always had their favorites and nothing is going to change that. Enjoy CIAS and what is to come behind that one. I know I still have high hopes for this song and in the end I believe we will all be happy with the end result.
