American Idol Season 3 Redo: Top 10
Camile Velasco- For Once in My Life (Stevie Wonder) Lisa Leuschner- Baby Love (The Supremes) LaToya London- Ooo Baby Baby (The Miracles) Amy Adams- Dancing in the Street (Martha & the Vandellas) John Stevens- My Girl (The Temptations) Jennifer Hudson- (Love Is Like a) Heat Wave (Martha & the Vandellas) Jasmine Trias- You're All I Need to Get By (Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell) Diana DeGarmo- Do You Love Me (The Contours) Fantasia Barrino- I Heard It Through the Grapevine (The Miracles) George Huff- Ain't Too Proud to Beg (The Temptations) Top Performances  Bottom 3    Bottom 2 Eliminated Compared to last week I thought this week was kind of a dud.  Diana gave the only performance I'd call great this week. I suppose I could give George and Camile honorable mentions for being better than just 'good'. In the end Jennifer, Amy, and John end up in the bottom this week. I only found them all okay this week. In the end Amy's the one I'd choose to send home this week. American Idol Season 3 Redo: Top 9
Fantasia Barrino- Something About the Way You Look Tonight Lisa Leuschner- Candle In the Wind Jasmine Trias- Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me John Stevens- Crocodile Rock Camile Velasco- Goodbye Yellow Brick Road George Huff- Take Me to the Pilot Diana DeGarmo- I'm Still Standing LaToya London- Someone Saved My Life Tonight Jennifer Hudson- Circle of Life Top Performances  Bottom 3  Bottom 2 Eliminated First off, from what I've heard we have a few famous Idol performances happen here. I'd say they met those standards. Jennifer Hudson must've given the best performance of the season thus far in my opinion. At very least for the week. I was really impressed. Also at the top I'd put LaToya for her great performance. For honorable mentions, I'd give them to Fantasia, Jasmine, and Lisa since I think she would've done really good with her song. The bottom three this week is Diana, because I just thought the performance was okay, Camile because I think her nerves took over, and John because of the hot mess that was "Crocodile Rock". John ends up being the person sent home this week. With that we only have one guy left in the Top 8. Lmao Camile's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" may be one of the most laughably terrible performances ever, I mean it was even worse than Crocodile Rock. Simon's comment about her performance that week still kills me to this day.

Well GYBR was too, but it wasn't as entertaining. They were both entertainingly bad in their own different way lol. This is why AI3 Elton John week was so good/memorable, some absolutely fantastic performances (Jennifer, LaToya, George) and the bad performances were just epic as well. I would've kept Johnny boy around though, because he made such a better tv personality than Camiele did and "As Time Goes By" was pretty good, better than anything she ever did imo. I'm going to be having a lot of free time in a week or so. Perhaps season 3 (And maybe season 4) will be completely redone.
