Good news! Looks like there's a little radio promo going on at several stations, including a couple of biggies, KSCS Dallas and WKLB Boston! And another performance coming up! Foxboro, Oct. 1.

KSCS also has a contest called My Sweet 16. A lucky winner and 300 friends get a party thrown for them and Kristy gives a private performance too. I would imagine you have to be 15 to enter.

Phone interviews
Kristy must have had a phone-in radio tour today. Sorry no caps of the interviews themselves. I tuned in after they spun 15MOS, which happened after the call-ins. Keep checking the webpages at WKLB, KSOP and maybe WSIX.

Also, KSOP in Salt Lake City played 15MOS in the morning and said she had called in.

and once again thanks to Kristy Lee Cook for checking in with us this morning. It's her latest from her brand new debut cd. It's in stores now. The song is called 15 Minutes of Shame.

She may have also called WSIX in Nashville but I'm not sure. That's only based on their spinning it during prime time this morning, after several weeks of barely playing it at all (plus they didn't play any other songs around 15MOS). Even if it wasn't an interview, it's a nice time to have a spin.

Tuesday, a few non-country stations played a part of the song. Not sure what were the circumstances, but one of them was an ALT station. So strange.

CD giveaways
Stations had Why Wait as prizes for callers. This is a great way for DJs to talk about her album being out, making callers happy, and of course helping get the word out that her album is out.

KNCI Sacramento did it the whole weekend, giving it away along with a country compilation.

US 99 in Chicago hasn't played 15MOS regularly. Only the countdown shows and, starting last night, in a New Country Challenge. Here, they're talking about her "new (New? ) CD called Why Wait". Hopefully a sign that they wait on new songs and then when they're ready to play it, they call the album and song "new".

If AI hadn't worked out, Nashville Star. The DJ said he had a $150 texting bill voting for her. lol Brooke knows a lot of rap songs. She didn't know which song would be the 2nd song on Regis and Kelly, and this was 2 days before the show. She had already met Jason Aldean at Cowboys in Dallas and opened for him before Idol. Holy crap, I didn't know that!
