8 guys - I don't recall this dance. Funny that Fidor and Yudzhin are the ones missing. It's a boy's dance from top 10, so they were 5 originally, for a gala they just added Max, Makar and Kostia (who was totally out of the picture) and Fedor and Yudzhin did not dance because they were suppose to be ready to dance next Fidor gets the only solo? Huh? Because his partner Jenia did not come -------------------- |

Tisato/Nikita - not sure if this was a new contemp routine with the swing and bench... I don't remember it. Probably because there wasn't much to it. But at least Tisato is back dancing; Julya too. It was a sort of commercial: that candy business - Rafaello (sponsors - I think you've noticed all those candies guys were giving to their partners) - had an online competition for the most romantic couple, and Tisato&Nikita won it, so they danced using their music and this white-and-red design was all about Rafaello. But I did not grasp whether they gave any prize... Looks like not (on a forum people discussed it, and it looks like a box of candies and this little silver(?) heart Nikita gave to Tisato - that's all) Guest performance was a bit weird at the beginning. I think I recognized 2 former SYTYCD contestants (Evgen (S2) and the short blond... They are all former contestants - some from seasons 1 and 2 and there was a guy from this year YAlta week This post has been edited by verak: Dec 26th 2010, 3:55 PM -------------------- |

I only recognized the 2 I mentioned for sure. The lead looked familiar but I wasn't sure if it was Zhenya S1 with straightened hair. Makc (S1) could have been hanging out in the back while getting interviewed. Otherwise I couldn't get a good look with that make-up. If you come across their names somewhere that would be great. I'll check the OS too. Maybe it has them. -------------------- Winter is Coming... Fire and Blood... Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken...

I did not watch first two seasons, so give you just what people said on their forum: the lead is Jenia Kot, and some others are Jenia Kariakin, Maksim Pekny, Atrem Volosov and the one from this year Yalta is Vasily Kozar - he danced contemp with Tisato This post has been edited by verak: Dec 26th 2010, 11:52 PM -------------------- |

Started to watch season 1 - so fun to see familiar faces in auditions. Fiodor, Kostia, Anjela and some more.
Totally loved their group (night) numbers - from my point of view they look much stronger than in other countries. -------------------- |

I downloaded it from torrent. May be I could try to post it somewhere, but I never did it. It looks like Megaupload has a limit 1G for free account. And those files are bigger (up to 1.5). So I have to try to reduce their size - can you suggest how to do it better? Or split? Or is there other free place that accept more than 1G?

What's interesting - half of top 20 of S3 (and all 4 finalists) are from top 100 of S2. And two of finalists did try all 3 seasons.

Finished watching Season 2. I don't know, why people think that season was worse than others? I enjoyed it very much. Can not stop rewatching "Lion King" number from top 6. I think right now it's my all time favourite.

I think I was one of the few who saw potential when most others had written S2 off. I thought the dancers were talented. But for me the choreography was too gimmicky (too many themes). Isn't S2 the season in which even Disco routines had themes? Overkill. I prefer when dancing is the centerpiece of the work, not 'acting', backstories, props, costumes or staging. It drives me crazy regardless of the country. YMMV. -------------------- Winter is Coming... Fire and Blood... Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken...

Me too, I hate too many props (but S3 was even worse with props) and like "when dancing is the centerpiece of the work", but to be realistic - what future holds for all those kids? Are there many places where they could "just dance"? Not really. Their destiny - show business, musical theatre. So that kind of choreo Ukraine presents is the best way to expose those dancers to their potential employer, which is the best result of such a show, IMHO. From one dance from season 1 a great musical has born! And practically everybody from first two seasons dance in it, they stayed as a team and support each other - I think it's great. are they auditions good or should i skip to Top 20? Auditions are hilarious (for those, who understand language). They show a lot of "weirdos" - it's so fun, like a stand-up comedy. You can go back to discussion and check conversations about auditions - I think it's worth it. And also I like to watch auditions because many of those who did not come through this time - will come for sure next season, it's good to know them. And watching auditions you become familiar with contestants, you get to know their personalities. Take Marta from season 3, or Kostia - without watching auditions (especially for Kostia - his auditions from season 2!) you won't understand how did they happened to be in top 20. And I like a camera work - they show so well judges' reaction - it's so funny! If you have any questions (especially what they are talking about) - just ask. -------------------- |

Thank you so much. It's Konstantin Tomilchenko, he is a great coreographer, I like him very much. He did a lot of great numbers in a season 2, and he danced with Tatiana Denisova (another choreographer of the show, and she became a judge for seasons 2 and 3) during the gala-concert! It was great! But he did not work on season 3, because he was very busy: he took one of his dances from the season 1 and made a great 3D dance-musical from it (rather, he had that idea about the musical for long time and that dance was a little try for it)! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPeT42omiuM He took as a cast practically everybody from 1 and 2 season (and even some from season 3 top 100). It's a really impressive work. They think now to may be take it to Europe, but it's very complicated technically (lots of lights, props and so on). Now he is working for "Ukraine got talent" and may be will return for season 4 SYTYCD. -------------------- |

Thank you for the information...it's very interesting. The show should be great to see it, but Ukraine is far away from Spain.
I see all the choreographys from season 1, and for me his numbers are the best... but season 2, It's difficult to find now (the links are all dead) Tank you again.. This post has been edited by sejima: May 18th 2011, 12:12 AM --------------------

For non-Russian speakers - a link to your site analog FaceBook. To watch the video to register. But the number of video materials fototo you be pleasantly surprised. I saw a similar group on FaceBook American show - they are very scarce. This post has been edited by godzilla85: Aug 22nd 2011, 3:35 PM --------------------
