Adam Lambert’s ‘Cloak of Light’ Not Penetrated by Haters February 27, 2012 06:21 PM EST Adam Lambert showed frustration on Twitter this weekend when he shared that he often hears from people that they are his fan "even though he is gay." He pointed out what is obvious to most people—that being gay is not a handicap. He then showed his gay pride when he tweeted, "That's me. Its not something you should have to look past. Look right at it. It's fabulous. Gay is fierce. Be proud with me!!!! #noshame"The fans that make these remarks to and about Adam are really not "haters," but just do not realize that these comments are insulting to someone who is gay. However, Adam has seen his share of hate recently from some Queen fans that are not happy that he will be singing with the band this summer. To counteract the venomous ones, Adam's fans have sent him kind messages, and today even Mia Farrow showed her support. She tweeted to Adam, "@adamlambert you are absolutely spectacular Adam. Don't let haters penetrate your cloak of light!" Obviously a thrill for Adam, he replied to Mia, "@MiaFarrow thank you !! Wow such a treat to tweet w you!  you are a beautiful spirit!"Fortunately, most of Adam's fans love him because of his talent and personality and do not even consider his sexuality. Adam recognizes this and even acknowledged these fans by following up his tweets with, "Meanwhile, I'm always relieved to meet and receive tweets from all you open-minded (normal) people! He certainly is getting plenty of press around the world and by far is the most exciting out of all of the Idols coming back to perform.--------------------
