last night I saw a 2009 TV special on Susan Boyle...it was really interesting...the pressure basically got to her, basically crippling her spirit as the finale ended, and she lost.
simon, interestingly, knew what ws going on and went to her b4 the finale show and told her she didn't have to do it, if it was becoming too much. and when she lost, he whispered in her ear, right then and there, that it didn't matter, that he had pledged to do her record and that he would do it. the pressure had been too much for her on the show. course, it didn't matter. simon knew what she had and he said on the program that she would probably end of being the most played artist in the world. it was a great show...she did a duo with Elaine Paige (which was fabulous), who she had said during her audition that she wanted to be as famous as....when Simon asked. then she closed the show with the London cast of Les Miserables...and "I dreamed a Dream"...after they gave her a gold record...and she cried like a baby... it was great. --------------------

Tomorrow I get surgery to remove a benign tumor on my pectoral. I'm scared, I've never been operated on.

BTW, I listened to Megan Joy's Trouble Me. I can dig it. I like her voice in it. My iPod seems to like it as well.

^^^Only thing I don't like is I can't find her music on iTunes.
Guess I'll have to peruse the CD racks around town. --------------------
