It became apparent that he was more likely to move to RCA rather than Epic when some Jive execs took top positions in RCA and the rumoured Epic/Jive merger fizzled. @RCApromo added him to their twitter list last week so it was just a matter of time before his status became official. Joe Riccitelli, the former Jive exec who pitched VOL to radio exec's will oversee the RCA's Pop Promotion Dept. so I think he will be in good hands. Cook's launch of his sophomore album was quite good in terms of appearances/performances on TV shows and radio gigs so I hope Kris can benefit from RCA's promotion. Jive handled LLWD's rollout on radio quite well so it will be interesting to see how RCA condicts its business in getting radio airplay for his next single. I wonder what's up with 19M though.

THIS IS GREAT!!! Now Kris can get down to business and get his CD released. I am glad he's with RCA. They did handle Dave Cook's album well and also Lambert's too. Thanks Rina for staying on top of all of this. You keep this Forum going.  --------------------
