Yeah. That also happens at times to me. Since I'm not a mod and I prefer unedited posts, I almost always just post my new thought as a fast reply thinking it will auto merge. Sometimes it doesn't. But most of the time it still does.

Since it seems like this isn't getting fixed.
I've come to laugh at these posts esp when I see when the post time makes the post order appear to be in the wrong order. While there s no rime or reason to how far it's off by far the most common it's been off is 1-2min and 5-6min.
