I don't know. I just clicked on 'buy now' for the VIP thing. The first time, it let me in and showed me all the venues that have VIP. I logged out. Logged back in and now whenever I click on the VIP 'buy now', it brings me to the store with the $9.99 membership... Confuzzled....

Click on the VIP Buy Now, and then on the right it should say "Subscriptions" and "Tickets", so you should click on Tickets and it should work.

Of course it is. We want him to be a superstar. Official fan clubs come with that territory. I'm thrilled he's going to have a paid fan club.

I only wish they had done this before the tour started so those of us who went to the earlier shows could have the opportunity for the VIP package. I hope they control those VIP packages and keep the same people from purchasing the package to several shows. It would be nice if they allowed one VIP package per year, per member. If not, the same people will be at the meet and greets over and over and over.

Anybody figure out if there's anything to do on the community page except look at each other's profile and add friends? Is there some kind of forum, etc.

a lot of times it's the management (Adam's management). The Record Label probably has a bit to do with it too.

I already bought my paid membership. (I bought the Glam one.) Idk about the VIP things.

I'm just getting the regular one.......I already have 3 Adam t-shirts and I don't think the VIP is available anymore, plus I can just enter contests to win meet and greets passes

That's because some people have apparantly knows about this since the middle of the week. I don't know how but there are comments dated from the middle of the week.

Probably.........but the thing is, like many occupations out there, the record company will probably take a portion of it. (just like when I sell art in art galleries, the gallery can take from 10-30% of the profit I make off of the art piece that was purchaced)

If there had been VIP passes for a meet and greet for the Louisville show, I sooo would have bought one.

I'm kinda glad this didn't exist then, because I wouldn't have been able to afford it.

AO is more of an official site for Adam himself, all though it does have a fan community in it, The fansite is more fan orientated.

I'm staying here. The font size for the forum thread titles is SO BIG that once a lot of threads starting being created, it's going to be very hard to scroll through all the pages. They could knock that font size in half and it would still be plenty easy to read.

ETA I'd like to know what the difference between this site and Adam Official is, too. I thought AO *was* Adam's official fan club website!

OK, redid the registration thingie with a different email address and now I'm in! I've added a picture and the other fields they ask for.... OOOOOF!

Now to learn to navigate around there... Well, tomorrow is another day... Off to the venue thread!

One concern I have with the $175 VIP package is, some fans with a lot of money could buy a M&G at several tour dates, so they get face time with Adam over and over and other fans don't get the chance to meet him at all, because there's a limited number of slots.

Is there a way to make sure that doesn't happen? Are you limited to one M&G per membership? I can't find a link to the Glitz package so I'm not sure...

That's my concern too. It doesn't say there is a limit. There should be a limit of one VIP purchase per member, per year. I found one of the mods in the community page and sent a message. It's probably not something they can change this year but hopefully they'll consider that for the next tour. Not that a mod will have any control over the packages but maybe they can pass the information on to who does decide that.

As you said, there will be fans willing to purchase the VIP package for every show they go to and the same people will be meeting him over and over.

I think they should have done a lottery - for $20 or something you could put in for a chance and if you win, then you pay the full fee. That way it's not just a matter of the same people buying up all the Meet and Greets!

And definitely a one time only limit per member per year!

Actually, Artistsupporter bought a VIP ticket (can't remember the venue) and is going to donate it. She's so incredible!
