In my mind this is pretty much a confirmation for Tae being in. Why else would they leak it? This performance has similar challenges with Maddi's KO, both involve rhythmic fast paced songs that exposed both artists' vocals. But like Maddi, I think Tae made up for it with the energy and stage presence.

Just rewatched the last episode, and the thing that jumped out to me the most is Zoe having the most compelling growth arc this season. While I would have chosen Jackie still, I think her performance was sublime and natural. I'm still puzzled at her being a country artist on this show, but this flavor of country fits her. If she did well on POs, I hope they leak it. She's a much easier sell for John than Bailey Rae.

Ugh I still can't believe they paired Tor and Alexander, it's like they want to run out talent this season. I am really rooting hard for Alexander though, I love that he's leaning into the jazz genre and I think he sounded wonderful in the recording. Very understated but sublime. Tor sounded great too, but I am much more fascinated by Alexander. Jarle already got one strike from me for eliminating Kristian last season so he better make it up to me, stat. Bjorn sounded great in his recording, I would have loved a less basic song choice though.

This is correct. Guess that relationship with Hannah didn't last long. Good for them and I hope they maintain this relationship!

Snaps all around, I would actually rank Jackie as my second favorite of the night behind Maddi. I think people are judging this a bit too harshly because of the admittedly stale song choice, but she did well with it AND put her own twist on it. I'm kinda sad she'll probably end up a casualty of the Playoffs.... hope she goes out on a high note.

The issue with this season is clearly not a lack of talent, because y'all wouldn't be so vicious to Chance if the people he eliminated were terrible. This is purely on his decision-making.
