Little sad about Marybeth, but based on tonight’s performances Oliver deserved the save more. He looked so scared to be up there in the bottom 3

Possibly unpopular (?) opinion, but I thought Marybeth sounded beautiful singing that. Don’t care for the song choice really, and agree that Here You Come Again would’ve been a much better choice, but I think she did well with the performance. Well enough to convince me to vote for her…

Iam's performance was my fave (and the only one I've watched more than once). Not sure if this is popular or unpopular, but my enjoyment of performances tends to rely pretty heavily on how familiar I am with the songs being performed. I'm just gonna leave it at that

I prefer that elimination format as well. It always feels to me like they're rushing to get to the finale and we don't get quite as much time/performances out of everyone with the way they're doing it now. As far as saves go... I guess it can be nice to get an extra performance out of your fave if they happen to be the one that was gonna be eliminated, but ultimately yes... it's pointless imo.
