At least on The Voice they gave you 100K for winning as well. So at least they had some incentive for winning. But all the top 10 have gotten pretty good exposure at this point so it doesn't really matter how it plays out from here on out.

Well past winners have really gone no place. The only ones from the show who go places are either country singers or people who made there own way after the show. Anymore once the show ends fans do not care about them anymore other then hardcore fans. Emmy just wanted exposure for her song writing and the same with the others. that is why you see so many original songs sung. Its all about being seen and hope someone picks you up. But if you win Idol it use to be a 1 year contract which many ended up wishing they never got.
Mia and Will do not need to win to make it since they're country but being 15 Triston may get the most out of winning. Its all about staying as long as they can for exposure winning is not what it use to be.
I know we always say we have to wait for the live shows first to determine this and that which is understandable, but I do think we might get a John win, and I'm sure tptb is pushing for it too whether it works out or not isn't entirely dependent on them obviously. Besides 25 sounds like a good number for a win from a coach who has been doing it for a while and is basically a veteran now
But if its not him, I'm placing my bet on Reba
