I am inexpressibly jealous of every single person who's going to be at that show. I can't go because it's on a Sunday (parents ), but let me tell you, if it were any other day NOTHING would stop me. Can someone take video of when Matt is singing? Cause I imagine it's going to be so crazy...*bitter sigh*

This is true, but since I'll be at college by then and will be car-less, I'll have no way of getting there. I also don't have any way of getting a ticket, since I am credit card-less. And if I did somehow find a way to go, I would never be able to talk about it, because I kid you not, my mom would have a coronary. She's SO obsessed with not doing anything on Sundays. On Sundays, we're not allowed to go anywhere but church, not allowed to watch TV, absolutely not allowed to work (like at a job...even though my mom works on Sunday...but apparently it's excusable for her since she works at a hospital )...she kind of takes the "Honor the Sabbath Day by keeping it holy" thing to an extreme. She would be BEYOND pissed if I went.

Oh well the CAR thing is a bit of a problem, yeah. I took a trip to Flint and Detroit by myself in the last year..and I never told my mom about Flint , and told her AFTER the fact about the D...both for meeting celebs lol. I had my mind made up that I was going, even though I WAS trying to find someone to go with, but even if I couldn't..I was goin! So after I got back, my mom was like "oh so who did you end up taking with you?" And I was just like uh...myself..? Lol it's ok though, you always make friends in line or sitting next to you. I can definitely feel your pain about your mom though. At least you got to go to Matt's homecoming! That's more than I can say at this point...

Aliison and Mariah, don't be shy to say hey to me! If you're waiting to meet them before the show, or even after, I'll be there!

how early should i get there in order to meet them? i'm like desperate to meet allison & adam this year.

^^They pretty much year after year, w/o fail, show up around 1. I am a natural pessimist, so I freak myself out and convince myself to go hours before they show up lol..
If you're there by noon, you should be safe to get a good spot by the fence and have some time to spare.

Well I mean, it's all up to them whether they come out or not. Last year 5 of them had to do interviews shortly after they arrived, and David Cook was filming Oprah and came much later to the arena, so I didn't get to meet him. So it's all kinda up in the air you know? From my experiences, the girls don't usually come out BEFORE the show as much as the guys. That's not in EVERY case, but a lot of times they've not really fully woken up, no make up on, so you can imagine how excited they'd be to take pictures w/ people.. For me season 3 Fantasia was the only person AT ALL to come out, and last year only Kristy Lee of the girls came out. Otherwise it's always been boys... for the most part everyone comes out AFTER the show after they're all dolled up and everything.
Before the show they usually have no problem taking pictures w/ people as the crowd is much smaller, but I have politely been turned down for pictures before when meeting some Idols AFTER the show. Which is understandable, the crowd waiting to meet them after is HUGE and they'd have to give everyone a picture.. A lot of the time after the show they just run around signing everyone's stuff, and sometimes they take pictures..like I said, it's up to them.

And yes, just behind the arena is where the buses pull in and people line up.

But yes, I did get to go to Matt's homecoming, and I was much much much much much closer to him at his homecoming (which was free) that I would be at the Idols concert (where I would have to blow any money I might make this summer). Though I didn't get to hear him sing live. Maybe someday...

Anyone know around what time you should be at the arena to meet them? What time do they usually arrive? I want to be in the front lol

^^I know, I can barely afford the parking @ the Palace. I would tell you JTTW that they get there around 1, but the only time I've seen Idols perform @ the Palace, they did NOT meet people before the concert, but many of them came out after. Only Sanjaya's sister came out before.

Steven!!!! I miss you! Yes that comment was about you. Are you going w/ Mama this year? I am w/ Brittany again of course and then we've recruited another friend to come...although I'm not really sure her level of patience, fanatic-ness, and how long she'll stand in the sun, but if I'm doing it, then she'll have to do it too haha. I am sure Megan will come out...I hope!
