This thread is not for making negative remarks about Idolforums, Moderator Actions, other members, fanbases who post here or for bashing contestants. Members here are entitled to be fans of whoever they want without being called names or being flamed.
If posts like that are made, they will be deleted or thread will be closed. Please do not start Fanwars in here   There's an unpopular opinions thread for each season in particular, but there needs to be an overall one for the "past seasons" forum!  Eta: oops! To start:
Anoop has one of the stronger debut albums from season 8 (out of Kris, Allison, Danny, and Adam) <-- .wow I didn't realize how many people made albums from that season! Season 8 was by far, bar none and easily the worst season to date. Only contestant worth watching was Allison. Everyone else

Definitely unpopular on this forum:
I think Leslie hunt has a horrible voice. Other opinions: I don't get the big mike hate. While I do like Lee DeWyze I think he's very overrated by the judges. Never liked Katherine McPhee. Nice voice but nothing amazing. Ruben over Clay anyday. Sometimes I like Kara sometimes I don't(mainly don't this season). Season 8 had the talent, but the way they ran it will forever make it one of the worst seasons.

I think season 9 is the worst season, and not because they didn't have the talent, but because some of the greater talent was eliminated way too early.

Adam's mentoring session will FOREVER go down as one of the only good things to come out of AI9.

Other than Brooke, Syesha Mercado was the best overall in her season and one of my all-time favorite Idols. So underrated.

And most people say this because they liked the seminfinalists that were cut but I really wasn't impressed with any of the top 24 (though I will say I would have liked to seen more out of Tyler Grady and Katelyn Epperly; hell, even Toddrick Hall and Janell Wheeler). Surely there had to be some better people that were cut in Hollywood. Why the hell didn't Angela Martin make it?! --------------------

I wasn't a big fan during the show, but her post-Idol stuff is amazing! I listened to Nothin But The Summer non-stop for months after that CD came out.
