@istersay Maybe the Huntley-Nini stuff should be in Gossip?

And Hannah. I wonder if she saw red.

American Songwriter says he's a single dad, not with the mother of his two children and in a committed relationship with Hannah Cook, a 21 y/o woman who is in college. https://americansongwriter.com/the-voice-season-24-winner-huntley-married-two-children/ Nikki Swift quotes Hannah's insta after Huntley won - "I'm so mf proud of you I can't believe it!!!!!!! You've worked so hard darlin. THIS IS FREAKING AMAZING OH MY GOD!!! THE VOICE WINNER OF 2023!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH." https://www.nickiswift.com/1476369/michael-huntley-the-voice-star-personal-life-what-we-know/ I promise I don't read Nikki Swift lol. Google found her.

Karen - A surprise to me, a lapsed country fan with a bit of a grudge. She and Trisha hit a sweet spot. If a country female could win, she'd have a shot. Anya - Love her but voters probably won't. She needs to have a moment the audience gets with a song that suits her. Tae/Madison - Both solid. They could do something really cool - or not.

spoiler warning American Idol Season 22 Spoilers - Presented By The Idol Pad
Wim replied to Idol Maniac's topic in American Idol
Haven't been following Idol this season but noticed these articles about Will Mosley in the Atlanta paper. https://www.ajc.com/things-to-do/celebrities/who-is-will-moseley-georgias-chart-topping-american-idol-star/OH7YX5FIFZGVDCCPOHA3CMT2H4/ https://www.ajc.com/things-to-do/georgia-entertainment-scene/interview-georgia-idol-country-artist-will-moseley-was-a-late-bloomer/EYQEAQIA2JAPVDG6TXCPXNZ5Z4/ -
I like Anya but I think she'll have problems with voters. She lost to Kyle on the app fwiw. If she's got a big moment in her (not necessarily a big song), the time is at hand. I'm wouldn't be surprised if Olivia does pretty well with voters. She's in a sweet spot for the show's demo and she does a lot of things well. She should be right up my alley but I can't get there - she never seems quite genuine to me, but that could be on me. Sometimes I just cant get on a singer's wavelength.

Anya is my sentimental fav but most would probably agree that her long term prospects aren't the highest. I don't think she and Gina are much alike (other maybe than being "dark pop" in the broad sense of a probably useless term) but I do think that, given her style, she'll need a breakout song like Wicked Games and a follow-up like Nothing Compares to stay in the hunt. I'm not sure what those songs might be in her case, but I'm sure she's thinking about it. Fwiw with Chloe it was Landslide and Teoth.

Agree. She caught a vibe there and carried the crowd along. Great change-up from the big ballads.

Charlie on Olivia Last week "Olivia, meanwhileβ¦ is it just me, or did it feel like was trying to vocally italicize, like, every line? And why all the yelling? This week "perfectly good . . . The trouble with her β for me, anyway β is that I always get a vibe of insincerity from her." I have wanted to like Olivia, the increasingly rare female pop rocker, but I think Charlie is onto something.

First was the obvious one for this thread. Second was someone whose arrest was mentioned here a while back. Dk what happened there - sounds like maybe there was a medical defense.
