It was an amazing trip." Did he like getting to know current "Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi? "I had never met her before and I always wanted to," Elliott tells us. "I'm very aware of her song-writing pedigree and it was an absolute blast getting to know her on a personal level. We shared a lot, had a good vibe." And who does he like on this year's "American Idol?" "I like Casey James, I like Aaron Kelly, I like Michael Lynche.
