Thought of a new one... Pink!
I like her new album, its very pop but some of her songs have a retro sound to it as well. -------------------- |

Vocally they're a great match and they could probably do some outstanding duets. But Pink does big production show stopping stuff. Haley just stands there and sings. She needs a headliner who's less showy. More music-driven, less eye-popping production. I mean, last tour Pink was hanging 40 feet in the air and twirling while she sang. Swinging over the audience on a trapeze. You better bring it if you're warming up an audience used to that. --------------------

I thought of that too when I listened to P!nk's new album, which I love. And I agree that Haley would be a good fit but also would have to be at the top of her game. I don't think there are too many artists out there who bring to the table what P!nk brings (Beyonce comes to mind). I'd love to see that show, though! -------------------- |

I love their song "paris(oh la la)". Yeah, that one is my favorite song, that I've heard, by them. I probably should've posted that one instead of "Runaway". -------------------- ![]() Just one of many fine sigs by Tusk |

Well, I'm not sure how well they'd blend together, but If I could pick someone that I'd like to hear performing with Haley, It would have to be the Whirling Stirling. Give a little Arizona-Utah Flair to the concert. There's a way to blend them together. I just can't imagine it myself.

Janelle Monae or Kimbra. I like both of these suggestions, especially Janelle Monae, and I know Haley would love to tour w/ her because she's mentioned liking her on a number of occasions. I mentioned this on another thread a while back, so forgive me for repeating myself but.. The person I'd most like to see Haley tour w/ (other than Corinne Bailey Rae - who doesn't have an album out now anyway) is someone who, at this point, probably isn't quite as famous as Haley. Her name is ZZ Ward. She's on Hollywood Records (which, like Interscope, is a Universal label) & her debut album "Til the Casket Drops" does just that on Oct. 16th. Part of what would make a Haley Reinhart/ZZ Ward double bill exciting is that, I believe, they are both right at the point where their careers are about to explode. And it would be so cool to see that happen while they're out on tour together. Anyway here are live versions of a couple of tunes off the album This is really pretty one called "Last Love Song" And here's the title track, which I just -------------------- ![]() Just one of many fine sigs by Tusk |

I was reading an interview with Bruno Mars today and his bio sounds like a reflection of Haley. Musician parents, lost his first record deal, similar tastes in music.
So Bruno it is -------------------- |
