I know. I just preferred the old Fox days. I have never been a fan of the ABC formats.

I agree about Mackenzie. He was one of my faves from the beginning but I am not outraged or real upset about him going because I know he wasn't the strongest singer etc. I would agree those 3 guys were gospel singers but there is a lot of gospel/r&b/soul singers and that is definitely how I viewed the three of them.

I'd like to hear some real rock songs, instead of it being this free format since R&R HOF inducts other genre's artists. I am sure there's gonna be several country and or stripped back versions of rock songs. I want some James Durbin/Caleb Johnson type rock and roll performances.

Why do they rush this all so much more than they used to? Back in ye olden days of Idol, they would sing one night, and one or two people would go home the next night. Nothing else happened until the following week. Now we get rid of 4 people Sunday, and then 6 people Monday? Okay.... maybe to get it down to the top 14/12 however they want to do it. But they're going to continue cutting people left and right so quickly, it seems like the show will be over in the blink of an eye.

Why is Quintavious not in the top 14? I preferred him to Roman or O'Dell. I had a feeling my girl Jennifer was going, and Mackenzie I can understand, but Quintavious..... ouch.

I absolutely cannot believe there is a top anything this season without Quintavious. I know we had 3 worship singers, and though I am not religious, I felt every single thing that man sang. His vocals were just impeccable. My top 3 went home in one fell swoop. And I can deal with Jennifer and Mackenzie, but Quintavious just hurts. Jennifer Jeffries has such a unique tone and I love her song writing - there was no one like her. There are 29212923234 million Will Moseley's out there. That one kinda stings. As for Mackenzie Sol, I think he will do fine for himself if he really wants to. He has a huge social media fanbase already and now that he's been on Idol performing to a new audience, I think he will be fine.
