The glee club pays homage to a true icon when they cover Whitney Houston’s greatest hits. Meanwhile, Emma and Will are one step closer to their dream wedding.
As the end of the Gleeks’ senior year grows near, Will and his students struggle to come to terms with the imminent disbanding of their Glee Club family. To help the kids deal with their feelings of impending loss, Will assigns New Directions the emotionally charged music of pop icon Whitney Houston. While some use the assignment to help ease the pain of saying goodbye, others use it to revitalize old relationships and cement new ones. Meanwhile, Kurt’s questionable behavior threatens his relationship with Blaine, Will scrambles to meet a self-imposed deadline, and a despondent Quinn’s spirits are lifted by a kindred soul. --------------------  credit: tamyra4me1

I'm quite excited about this episode. Hearing Lea singing her part on How Will I Know at the beginning of the preview reminds me of hearing her sing Like A Prayer in the preview for the Madonna episode back in Season 1. When I heard that snippet back then I stopped to listen and that I'm getting that same reaction now. I can't wait to see that in context.

I've already watched the video twice. They sound so amazing together. Amber continues to amaze me this season. I've always known she was a great singer but this season she's been killing it and I'm so glad she is getting her time to shine.

I was looking forward to I Wanna Dance With Somebody, but it's such a hot mess. why did Brittany had to sing it?

This episode shouldn't have happened. Most of the songs were disappointing and not many cast members have the vocal chops to pull off Whitney Houston. I'm sad that I'll probably never get another proper Brittana duet. Been waiting since season 2.

Don't care for IHN and I think SE is too fast. Otherwise I enjoy all of the songs. They didn't really do Whitney justice, but if I forget that these are Whitney songs I enjoy them more.

How Will I Know is definitely one of my all time favorite Glee covers
SO freaking gorgeous, and something that fully stands apart from the original, and yet is equally strong! My Love Is Your Love is so good too! I hadn't heard the song before, but I love it  I Have Nothing is so beautiful... Chris has the most angelic voice!! Sure it's not the super power house ballad that Whitney did, and there are a couple parts in the end that I wish they would have taken down an octave for him, but over all I think he did a beautiful job with it, it's so emotional and sweet, and I think it's going to be the song that packs the most punch for me in the episode because I love Kurt and Blaine so much The rest are kind of eh, a lot just because of the arrangements. I appreciate that they at least tried something a little new with the songs rather than going for carbon copies, but the house/dance beats just didn't work with most of them. And Dance With Somebody would have been a lot stronger with Naya singing it. I think Heather's voice is really cute, and I'm not one of those people who thinks only Amber should be able to do Whitney just because she's the one who could do Whitney songs LIKE Whitney, but that song just needs a stronger singer on it. --------------------

Yeahh.... I kinda wish Rachel or Mercesdes sang "I have Nothing". I love Kurt but the song just wasn't for him at all.
