Here’s how I would rank the male-winning seasons of American Idol from best to worst: 11, 2, 15, 21, 14, 5, 7, 10, 8, 19, 17, 13, 9, 20.

It seems that American Idol is on the fence as far as the ratings are concerned. This year the show has averaged around 5 million viewers.

That is if the bias sticks. Nya has a good shot of sticking around for top 20.

Who would win American Idol season 22 if America votes without bias towards any specific type of singer and with discernment for actual talent? In other words, no minivan, no music genre bias. I would say Abi Carter.

Nya would have had a shot of making the top 5 if minivan were out of the picture. Quintavious Johnson would have had a chance if he did not choose a Carrie Underwood song.

Did Wé Ani deserve to be eliminated? Or should she have made the top 3? My answer is that she should have made the top 3 instead of Colin Stough. The reason has to do with biased voting patterns.

What would be your dream cover of album of 13 songs of any artist, using American Idol season 21’s top 26 (which means not necessarily top 12)? Each contestant of the top 26 can only be used once per album as a solo and/or as a duet.
