To be honest, I sometimes wish she'd get dropped from Interscope esp. if they continue w/ the lackluster promotion. Cause right now, all that contract does is tie her down because she's not getting the big promo. I'm sure someone could've done a much better job with her promotion. She's seasoned right off Idol. Her voice and looks are commercial. She can freaking SAAANG when she has to.

They don't even send her CDs to these big retail stores, at least not enough. For them not to have it on shelves in walmart is just unacceptable, and it just says a lot. She could do with a much better team.

I agree. If she has to get dropped from Interscope so she can get a recording contract from a better company and have the success she definitely deserves, then I wouldn't mind. Interscope so far hasn't done much to promote her.

Please let Jessica be on the talk show circuit before Candice! Interscope/19 and CAA please do some decent massive promo.

If they're going to release the second single soon they should coincide it with the release of the deluxe version of the album if ever they're still pushing through its release.

I wonder if they know that Jessica is the type of artist that needs development and massive promo to sell very well. if they did it with Lady Gaga and some of their artists then why not do it with Jessica. Well, maybe that's the plan they are going to apply with Jessica. I hope so.

It's insane if they are going to drop her when all the potentials are there and all she needs is massive promo/exposure. I thought Me, You & The Music is a grower type of album, at least for me.

Maybe they didn't manufacture enough cds. Some of those retail store branches do not have the cd yet because of low shipment. Maybe they're banking on digital sales. thumbdown.gif

DID you hear her single on the radios? if so, i think interscope should release the 2nd single if her 1st single is on fire! and if the 2 singles are hot, her album will be successful. but if the radios still dont play the single i think it would be hard for jay! sad.gif

Apparently they are also releasing Candice album on July 12. Maybe Interscope is really not feeling Jessica.sad.gif

If She does get dropped from Interscope, I doubt any other major US label would sign her given the very low sales of her first album, and lack of radio airplay, even the ones that were interested before hand. Although any record label in the Philippines would love sign her if they could. Most likely if she dropped she would end up on a small indie label in the US (such as Spin Move Records she use to be on or others such as Planet Hype or Kamikaze Records) or a record label in the Philippines.

I will be upset if Jessica Sanchez gets dropped from Interscope Records. It looks like Interscope is trying to sabotage her career, setting her up to be lost in the shuffle. We should not let that happen. Or it could be 19 Recordings doing the sabotaging.
