On Sunday, we were teased with a big announcement to come the next morning on Ryan’s show. Wanda Sykes joked about Rihanna/Adam’s cover (cute!). We got quite a few more 2012 junket and red carpet interviews as well as an audio of Adam (and others) shortly after the end of AI. Comcast added FYE to their video show and one of Finland’s biggest newspapers added this interview to their online site. Lots of Adam mentioned in various magazines also popped up.

On Monday, we found out that the big news was that there will be a free concert with Adam, Allison and Kris in some yet to be determined city (voting on line for city). Fans were kind of let down (our guesses were way more fun!). Adam tweeted about AMA planning!!! And last, but certainly not least, the CD was put up for pre-order on iTunes!!!!

On Tuesday, Adam thanked his fans for making his CD #1 in Pop and #10 in Music on iTunes... You’re welcome BB, you are it was our pleasure!!! Justin Coloma tweeted that he had just finished shooting an interview with Adam and that his video would be shot very soon. Adam was nominated as Breakout Artist for the People Choice Awards (VOTE PEOPLE VOTE!!!). Online media went from giving up on Adam replacing Freddie with Queen to now ogling Aerosmith (replacing Tyler)... but in six words... one of the best lines of the week... Adam called Gene Simmons a dick!!!!

On Wednesday, we got longer snippets of some of the songs and the overall reaction involved squeegees, thud mats, fainting, wooting, OMGing... well you get the picture! Larry Klein (AMA producer) had a new vlog up and talked about things exploding, going up in flames, lasers... the consensus is that those are only for Adam! Just joking!!!! Adam was at the Hot List TV Guide party and a few other parties as well... The boy is making the Hollywood rounds!

On Thursday, Adam was Artist of the Month on AOLKids! US Weekly included Adam in “Stars of the Year” as part of the magazine’s annual Hot Hollywood issue! We also got our first hint that Adam would be shooting his FYE video on Sunday at The Alexandria.

On Friday, we got some Elle behind-the-scenes footage (yum!!!). We also found out that Adam Lambert is set to work with director/choreographer Jamie King for his upcoming performances!!!

On Saturday, we got scans of Adam’s cover of Out 100 – that makes four covers for BB this year! InStyle also mentioned Adam’s penchant for MAC cosmetics (with price tag at the bottom of the blurb)... Can his endorsement deal be far behind?

All in all a very good week indeed... but the fandom is doing a countdown to the AMA and Adam’s performance! Eight more days to go!

With stunning vocal prowess and equal-opportunity sex appeal, Adam Lambert is American Idol’s first real rock god. Just six months after taking second place on Idol, the 27-year-old singer is releasing his debut, For Your Entertainment, a retro-futuristic dance-pop collection featuring tunes penned by Lady Gaga, Pink, Rivers Cuomo and Muse’s Matt Bellamy. “The vibe is a blend of old and new, to take a classic-rock-sounding track and as “How can we modernize this, how can we give it an electronic edge?” Lambert says. “I want it to be a little bit over the top and tongue-in-cheek, and at other times, I want to do something vulnerable and real.”

When you put your album cover online, it got a lot of criticism for being too campy and too gay.

But that’s what I was like on Idol. When I did “Ring of Fire” that was pretty camp, so I don’t understand why the cover is a surprise. People are forgetting me at my wildest – with platform boots and rhinestones around my eyes. Is the album cover that much of a departure? Hunky Dory and Velvet Goldmine were a big inspiration, along with old Poison and Motley Crue covers. It’s fun- it’s supposed to be kind of campy.

Do you think some people feel differently about you since you came out?

Gene Simmons spouted something, that he thought I’d ruined my career coming out. He’s obnoxious, and what a hypocrite – all he talks about is his sex life. He was being a dick – and he’s not the greatest singer. I guess he’s a good businessman. I’ll give him that.

What are your go to tunes when you’re getting ready to go out?

Goldfrapp’s Supernature was on rotation for, like, a year. It’s electronic, but it has an organic, psychedelic feel to it. When I heard they were working with Christina Aguilera, I was like “Aw, she beat me to it.”

Any music you don’t like?

I really respect Bob Dylan- but I just can’t get into his voice. And I’m not a huge Kanye West fan- or of rap in general – but he’s got sick visuals.

Lady Gaga wrote a song for you. What was it like working with her?

Even though she seems super-eccentric and out there, as a person, she’s really down-to-earth- very New York. The song was a demo of hers from three or four years ago. At the end of the session we had a drink – and then recorded more after some whiskey. The song captures us partying.

There’s also a tune by Justin Hawkins of the Darkness.

Their song “I Believe in a Thing called Love” is a great example of kitschy, glammy rock & roll. I told the producer, “I want it to feel like it’s a time capsule from the Seventies and we’re going to blast off into space.” It’s a rock song at the core, but it has all the this ---- (she couldn't make that word out from the scans) ear candy all over it.

What did you dress up as for Halloween this year?

I walked over to a Hollywood Boulevard costume shop and bought a pair of fangs and creepy white contacts. I was a “glampire” – it’s a vampire with full-on fashion.

On Sunday, we got the news that Adam will perform the Star Spangled Banner at an ADL event to honor Steven Spielberg on December 9th. Mostly though, we spent the day getting pictures and tweets from Adam’s friends about their awesome Hallopeen parties.

On Monday, the Ellen Show was confirmed for December 1st. We drooled over glowing reviews of FYE and were teased by a journalist (Amadela) that Adam was at the 2012 junket and that he would have video for us... at some point!!!!

On Tuesday, we got to listen to snippets of all the songs on the new CD!!!! Reviews of said snippets poured in all day and we basked in all their hyperboles! Adam attended the 2012 premiere and we got lots and lots of videos and pictures of Mr. Gorgeous! Squeegee anyone?

On Wednesday, we finally got the official press release and FYE went up on iTunes (US), which announced that Adam would be on GMA and Letterman on November 25th. More and more videos of the 2012 premiere kept being dug up by our Nancy Drews and we spent most of the day drooling yet again. Not a dry mouth in the fandom!

On Thursday, we found out that Adam was #1 on the Must List from EW! FYE was #20 in the Top 100 New CDs on Amazon! Go Adam! Ann Powers provided one of the best reviews yet... absolutely nailed it! We also got a new video from the producer of the AMAs who talked about Adam and his diagrams and drawings!!!! And last but certainly not least two of our very own Skanks got to spend the evening with Adam at Danielle Stori’s show!!! Lucky girls! Forget the squeegees, drool buckets were hauled out!

On Friday, we began our day with laughs from Adam and his friends on tabloids reporting that Adam and Ferras were dating! Their tweets were hilarious. We also got video of Roger Taylor (Queen) talking about Adam on the BBC! We also got scans of the Elle magazine photos and of course Adam is just gorgeous on them! Amanda Peet and Lea Michele declared their undying love for Adam ON FILM! Since they were on videos, their drooling was well masked and edited out, but we just knew it was there nevertheless!

On Saturday, there was really no new news which of course caused the fans to analyze, hypothesize, dissect, discuss, opine and critique a few juicy subjects (numbers being the main topic) until all fans ran out of steam (had this been a live conversation, they would have run out of saliva – to keep with this week’s theme)!!!!!

15 days until the American Music Awards!!!!!!

On Sunday, we found out that Hi-Fi reared its ugly head again with a new release of a CD called Take One which is a rehash of the summer fiasco. Fans posted warnings on all the sites where you could pre-order it. But truth be told, we pined away, hoping for any tidbit of information. We were angsty... we could feel something was going to happen in the coming days.

On Monday, more of the same... Waiting, hoping, praying and looking for any tidbit of news, F5ing... Anticipation was ratcheted up a few more notches.

On Tuesday, Adam attended the premiere of This Is It! with Katy Perry and what a handsome pair they were! We got great pictures! We got the CD cover and of course a polite debate ensued ... We would do the Swiss Parliament proud!

On Wednesday, Adam took to twitter to elaborate on the CD cover. The debate got somewhat more heated... Think the Israeli Knesseth!

On Thursday, Adam appeared on Oprah and was his ever so cute/adorable/endearing self. The ongoing CD cover debate was still going strong and as a last resort, Adam invited all of us to Camp David (OK, it was Ryan Seacrest’s show, but work with me folks!) where he promised to give us a first listen to his single For Your Entertainment on Friday morning.

On Friday, we got to hear For Your Entertainment on Ryan’s show. We also got the single cover, a total turnaround from the CD cover. A few obligatory discussions took place, but by then Adam had firmly shepherded all of us to Camp David and peace was maintained!

On Saturday, Sony put up the Time for Miracles video for free download!!! Amazing quality!!! We also got the Walmart Soundcheck video. And it seems that Adam and Drake have opted to go their separate ways but that they remain friends.... of course shipping has begun!

Happy Halloween to Adam and all his fans!

P.S. At the time of this post, the United Nations is penning an invitation for Adam to join their ranks as an honorary member.
