guys, its not like since RCA "got rid of her," or however you wanna put it, means she fades into obscurity. she is still going to events and being shot by the paps. her public celebrity is no different than it was a week ago. so honestly we all need to stop acting like we didnt see this coming. we all thought she was gone almost 3 months ago and we were all happy with it and now that we know for fact it has happened (whether its been a few months, weeks or days) we are all freaking out. so please stop freaking out.. we always get paranoid and think her career is gonna end over every negative thing that happens. remember she still has a GREAT manager and the support of David foster and i could keep going... so end of conversation.

Artists both big and small, new and established get layed off or dropped all the time and being "dropped" does not necessarily tarnish your reputation. It's going to be more difficult for Kat after an underperforming album but to say she didn't have another shot at a major label isn't quite right. And yes, having an A-list management backing her, supporters like David Foster, a studio production to be on the silverscreen in summer, and a general public interest will help her.

No one is freaking out. What we are reacting to is being kicked while we are down, by a mod, no less. The Kat fans here are the ones saying that her career as a major recording artist is NOT over by any means. That doesn't mean we are non-plussed by the news that Kat does not have a record contract at the moment. It sucks, but the vast majority of us are confident that she will land on her feet. What we don't appreciate is snarky comments made in Katharine's forum by people who shall we say are not Kat fans.

Right that makes sense T, the previous sales are her collateral. And you're right she made impressive friends along the way and has, as Noth said lots of other gifts to keep her afloat. Plus all these articles are still giving her credibility as good singer and blames the material, not Katharine, which is a huge plus.

Whoever said "because Kat's a goddess" gave exactly the hyperbolic but totally predictable answer you'd expect here. And that's the point. It's disingenuous to play dumb.
