yeah. I commented on that in the spoiler thread. I don't that's going to revive the show.

Nothing will "save" the show at this point, they have to hold on to what audience they have left.

Part of me is sad, since Idol will always be my favorite, but the other part of me likes the newer shows better.

I still think Idol is the only platform to launch singer's with either superstardom or good, long music careers.

That is so true, the others keep trying but it never works for some reason. I still say Phillip got very, very lucky and Scotty will not have a second successful album. Jimmy Iovine has worked with some of my very favorite musicians, so he is very good at what he does, I must admit.

I think X Factor has a chance, but they really need to get 5th Harmony's and Emblem3's albums out this summer, the sooner the better. Tate has already bombed, I don't think he's even in the BB 200 anymore

sorry, but I laughed out loud when I read that on Mjs as much as I would like to see some of my faves again, I don't wanna see them judging

Food Network Star is starting June 2nd. Seem nutty to start the new season, when we really haven't seen much of last year's winner -- Justin right?

I hope they go back to not letting the public vote. If views are able to vote, the producers (like Idol) just edit the show to steer you to vote for their winner. At least if the judges on the show decide, I say, manipulate away!
Will you watch FNS? I'm on the fence.

I will probably watch it, at this point I prefer it to Top Chef.

I think it's like the singing shows, they crank out too many finalists to make stars out of everybody.

I agree, there are too many, and on FNS the ones that win I usually wouldn't want to watch on their own show, same with the Design Show Star or whatever it's called

I just saw in the spoilers that Jennifer Hudson will be a judge. I like her but her personality is so dry, I think they are just digging their show deeper in the hole

I'm not sure if J-Hud will be such a good judge. I wonder if her contract also says she will follow TBTB's script when prompted?

I think anyone who signs up to a be a judge will feel pressured to get with TPTB program
