Both have been compared to Miranda Lambert and see her as their inspiration. Both sang "Hell on heels" for their auditions.

I really like Rae Lynn's tone, but she's not a very good singer IMO. I'd probably chose Skylar

Definitely Skylar. I prefer her voice over Raelynn's, and she seems completely confident whenever she performs which is something I feel is lacking with Raelynn. Not to say that Raelynn won't get to that same point eventually, but I don't feel as if she's there yet.

I used to think Rae-Lynn was a million times better, but now I like Skylar too... they are tied for me at the moment.

I don't watch The Voice anymore but I did see an episode with RaeLynn, and I thought she was absolutely terrible and in no way deserved to go through

From what I saw from this Raelynn girl (dont watch the voice either, just a few videos, saw her audition), she has alot potential, really liked her voice, but seems that she lacks Skylar consistency. While SKylar seems pretty much ready for the prime time, record a album and do concerts, Raelynn probably will need some more time/coaching.

Neither, but Skylar is really awful, because she is unable to give any vulnerability. She always sings in this passive-aggressive manner, emanating anger and it is most excruciating and annoying.
She is using AI to vent and dump her own anger onto the unsuspecting audience. What an abuser and what gullible fools who fall for her ploy! I never wanted a contestant out, but I want her out. NO VULNERABILITY, just never-ending anger. Soooo putrid, stale and fake.  --------------------

From what I've seen from both X-Factor and The Voice, for me Idol always seems to find better versions of their contestants. The overall talent was definitely better on Idol last year, but the top end talents is much deeper on The Voice this year and although subject to opinion the overall talent is probably better on The Voice too. I cant stand the battle rounds on The Voice sometimes it sounds like a screech fest.

Deandre is there because he is cute, young, is an ok singer, and will attract a certain demographic to watch the show. They dont always put through the best singers in The Voice, just as in Idol. --------------------

Aww I like RaeLynn. I think she's cute and has grit. As a country music fan, I'd definitely buy her album. If Skylar always performed like she did in the semifinals with "Stay With Me", I'd buy her album but the past couple weeks, she's just not really country enough for me.
