The thing is, yes the Ukraine is a mess (read Elton John's article/blog and the comments below ), but there are just as many idiots that are still sore that Adam has the gall to sing with Queen. I read on the review that Marie posted, forget which one it was, and one poster commented that he just couldn't take anybody that came from that puke show AI seriously. WTH?? I think some of the diehard Queen fans think Queen should have died with Freddie. While I have no doubt that Freddie was great, there is a sort of idolizing and deifying him that just creeps me out. He was just a person, for heaven's sake, albeit a talented one, but just a person, and just as flawed as anyone else.

So it's hard to say whether people are more disgruntled over the fact that Adam is gay or that Adam sang with Queen. The thing is, it all comes down or should all come down to the music, and what I saw yesterday where hundreds of thousands of people enjoying themselves and singing along, especially some of the men.

And let's not forget the game of telephone that is the internet. One or two posters commenting negatively can very well translate into thousands by the time it gets to the boards.

Well, I just had my very first Queen-in-concert experience yesterday, not to mention my live Adam fix in a glorious live stream and I'm still on a high today. I have WWTLF on constant rewind, I can't stop watching it. I am so, so proud of Adam and I am not letting some idiots ruin the experience for me

Lisai, once you have the 4gb download file how do you then get it to dvd? Do you need to do anything special with it or just burn to dvd via drag and drop in windows?

LITTLE BEE: the .rar file needs to be opened - if you get the first one opened it seems to automatically ask to open the rest.. I've only done this once before.. my son is the .rar expert..lol once open it sounds like it is Video TS if thats what sylvia is using.. i'll know better when mine finally is all down loaded..

Sigh.. the skills we have to learn to keep up with Adam... would we have ever thought we'd need all this.. although I use some of these in my job, I dont use them all.. just makes us alll the more valuable.

Sorry I had to take my car in for a service and just got home..

I use a program called Roxio Toast Titanium and it takes Video ts files to create a dvd.. other burning programs also take video ts files.

When you burn mp4 or .mov or any files to a dvd it actually creates a video ts file on the dvd.. so it is already formatted and compressed to go onto a disk. As long as your program takes the file it should work.

I'll be home for the next few hours.. will keep an eye on here to see if I can help further..

I have the 2nd part downloading now. such a long process..

The sportscasters were both British. I guess Ian Darke and Steve McManaman were the two commenting. The only issue is I tried to search twitter to verify this person's claims and I didn't see millions of comments. So maybe Adam trended naturally on his own not in relation to this because I did see a gazillion comments about the Kiev concert still and people flailing. The trend was only in the US, not WW. I only saw a couple people mention Darke talking about Adam and only one where a person said "Darke making fun of Adam Lambert and homos in the middle of the euro cup #classic", and then another one said "Ian Darke takes his Freddie Mercury replacements very seriously." Those comments seem kind of conflicting because it seems weird that someone who is a fan of Freddie who was gay, would then talk about Adam being gay in a derogatory way. I can see the commenter however saying the standard Adam is no Freddie crap we see everywhere and maybe a few jerks used that comment to fuel their gay-bashing on twitter? So I wish I knew what exactly was said. I feel like some Adam fan should be able to nail this one down and figure out what actually happened. I am not very twitter savvy. Don't Glamberts watch soccer?

Ok, So i am a sports fanatic and was watching the game and overheard the announcers talking about the concert. They were not making fun of Adam, at all. One said Elton John and Queen played to hundreds of thousands...the second one says "With Adam Lambert" and first then says "Yes Adam Lambert, so you tell me"" second says with a little laugh "He is important..he plays the part of Freddie Mercury" ..first then say "can anyone, really?"..


I did not take any diss to Adam...the first announcer seems like he didn't know about Adam, so "so you tell me" was I am taking your word for it pal about Adam Lambert singing last night. Haters like to jump on anything Adam....And i was watching ESPN in the USA....announcers are British i think.
