1. Casey Donovan
2. Natalie Gauci 3. Damien Leith 4. Guy Sebastian 5/6. Wes/ Stan- Again, can't comment too much on whether or not they deserved to win cuz I didn't ereally watch the seasons but from what I have seen of Stan's post Idol career, he is basically a carbon clone of Guy. 7. Kate DeWhatever- Possibly the dullest winner world wide. --------------------

Guy and Stan have awesome distinctive soul voices
 Can't see how that makes Stan cloning Guy  Stan sings but Guy is the full package being a singer/songwriter/musician, producer, tv personality, and multi-instrumentalist. --------------------

What does it mean - who is the best Australian Idol winner? Just another excuse to bag someone out? Talk up our personal favourite? Or does the best mean the most successful? (That makes it easy).

The one I think was the best, by a long shot, was Anthony Callea. The most successful was Guy Sebastian.
