Today Adam and the band are appearing at the Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien.

I believe it tapes in the late afternoon for an 11:35 p.m. airing on the same day. I'm not sure about what Adam's appearance will be... singing only or singing and interview. Obviously the whole fandom is hoping for an interview as well and that Adam and Conan can steer the conversation away from the infamous AMAs. Conan is a dry-witted/jerky kind of interviewer but I am sure Adam will charm him and give as good as he gets... I have no fear when it comes to Adam.

When I bring up the programming guide on my DVR... it says the guests are Actor - Tom Arnold & Actress - Cheryl Hines Musical guest - Adam Lambert.

Yes those are the guests today.

For the show. The arrival time is 2:45 - 5:45 ends the taping. Advance tickets holders have to be there by 2:45. At 3 they start to go through and check you in and line you up and number you. If your whole party is not there you have to wait to the side till they all get there before they line you up. You go in and get seated around 4. If you are on the guest list you arrive at four and do not have to wait. He tapes the show straight through as if it was a live show. The show airs later that night. He usually does not talk to musical artists and they perform at the end. If he does talk to them, then they usually talk on the couch first then perform. I would not expect him to talk to Adam.
They pass out about 100 standby tickets at 10:00 p.m. at the studio. His shows normally fills up and very few get in, however when I was there last week, a good number did get in for no shows. I am not sure how many though as I was already in.

There you have it. I think I have been there once a week for the past 3 weeks now and yes, I am planning to go today unless the timing does not work with So You Think You Can Dance. They are taping part 2 of Tuesday's show today and might be doing some interviews.
