The Express already has a thread, so I figured we'd start one. Any hopes or expectations for this album? It's due out early next year. Some previous articles:

For Stronger they were choosing between I Forgive You and Let Me Down, then Mr. Know It All came along and they chose that. I just can't wait. To be honest, in the beginning I didn't love Stronger but with time I came to LOVE all the songs on it (except Breaking Your Own Heart).. I hope I will fall in love with this album immediately and I hope it does a lot better than Stronger even though it did really well too!

Her albums are always a mix so that's no surprise here. I'm not expecting it early next year though. I feel like we always get it pushed back so I'm more expecting closer to summer

I thought Kelly did a great job with Alone. I'd love to see a few more Pop-Rock songs with 80's influence similar to Alone. I'd like a few rock songs as well, and one or two ballads. I wouldn't mind one dance song and one Country song, but feel they hurt the album's cohesiveness so I'd prefer only one.
This will likely be Kelly's last Pop album. Most importantly, I want to see 5 good Pop singles and one smash hit. Quality is important too, but if I had to choose between success and quality I'd choose success. --------------------

I think Kelly is more than capable of winning Grammy awards in the Pop category, Pop Collaboration, Country, and Dance. She is the only singer in music today capable of winning those awards. Kelly hasn't been doing too well in some European countries(Germany being one) and even in Australia she's had a few flops. Mr. Know It All and Catch My Breath are risky first singles and are not helping Kelly's sales. The first single is important, and I hope RCA understands this. If there's only one legitimate hit off her next album, I hope it's the only single that gets released.

The Olympics will be coming up in February, and Kelly's first single should be out by then. Phillip Phillips and Carly both had very successful singles, and both benefitted from the Olympics. I'm hoping RCA pushes for Kelly's single to be played during the Olympics.
