I'm glad it wasn't too dramatic/traumatic too, just enough to hit your heart. I like the thread idea that tied it all together, and that it ended with a heartwarming scene of mother and child

I like the way they dealt with the broken foot. They could have gotten very melodramatic and graphic, but the subtlety was actually more effective. I'm not sure that everyone who hasn't heard about the broken foot incident will get it, but it sure was effective with me. Those lines get me every time, though. I wonder what those early scenes were supposed to be depict? Crystal being shuttled between different homes?

Ok. I cry when I watch emotional scenes in tv shows and movies but I've never cried while watching a music video until today.
I just watched the video for ''Farmer's Daughter'' and it made me cry.  Wow! It's such a great and emotional video. I love it.  --------------------

I just watched it. Though I thought the editing of that first part was a little slow, the more I watched the more I started to love it and it really made me pay attention to the song's lyrics. And the last part, with her hugging her kid, is just so heartwarming. I didn't really follow Season 9 (or any other season besides the one from my favorites you can see) but caught a few of Crystal's performances and even though I liked her voice, I wasn't really invested. But having heard her album stream made me want to buy it (which I did) and watching her video made me love Farmer's Daughter.
