I agree, it has a lot of potential. Kris doesn't have a legion of fans waiting to buy his music, we knew that already. When it starts getting airplay I think the song will quickly gain in popularity and sales.

i think that most of kris fans are very cuasul not obessed and that means that they are not checking his news all the time like us , they are waiting to listen to his single on the radio or to watch a promo of it to go buy it and i think most of the big stars fanbase are like that , i think that jive will be dumb to let this single go without supporting it wink.gif

Guys kelly clarksons my life would suck without you debut at number 98 when it was released on a Friday and then the next week jumped to number 1 and stayed there for 2 weeks. So we're already off to a better start! This song will for sure jump to top 50 next week. There is absolutely no need to freak

First week sales only show what kind of pre-existing hardcore fanbase someone has. Shouldnt be too big of a surprise to see that Kris doesnt have a huge one. A lot of his fans were casual, so they will casually be picking this up.

The fanbase that an AI contestant gets while being on AI means absolutely nothing in terms of their success after Idol. They have to go beyond Idol fans, and there is no way we will know if Kris has done this until about 6 months from now.

Week 2 sales should be a great indicator of how well this is going to do. If you see a decrease to like 5k, then its time to be worried. If you see it increase, that means that people are buying the song because they like it, not because they are a diehard Kris fan.
