I was so disappointed the TFM wasn't a 'number one smash' ...............and now think that Adam was very savvy to realize that the market today isn't for big, rocky, power ballads and that Sleepwalker , which I love, was not going to make it as a single.

Anyway I love TFM and loved all the fun when we first got to hear about it. It was a great honour for him to be asked to sing it and hopefully he will be doing more in the future............ James Bond ??? Would ABSOLUTELY LOVE him to play Elvis in a MASSIVE biopic and sing a huge 21st century reworking of an Elvis song.

I missed out that bit of Brian May's quote deliberately because TFM didn't turn out to be 'a number one smash'.

I love TFM and was disappointed that it wasn't a number one smash too. Vocally, it deserved to be #1...I mean where can you find another male singer in the world who could sing the song as amazingly as Adam did?

It's great though that so many other singers and artists recognise just how talented he is from Brian May to Nile to Robbie to Katy Perry to Nancy Sinatra!!

I'm sort of a worst case scenario thinker, and firmly believe that there is so much respect for Adam that should No 2 album not take off (WORDS THAT SHOULD NOT BE SPOKEN I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!) he will have MASSES of other oportunities available.

This man should be iconic.

I think in some Asian countries TfM was close to be a smash hit! At least I have read many people in those countries know Adam because of it.

Since I always miss the right time to post about the songs - these are my thoughts for the last couple of songs. In the beginning I thought I liked MP a lot. I remember I posted that to me it had some Personal Jesus vibe. But then based on my ITunes this is the song I rarely listen to. I dunno, it just wore off too fast for me. I love all versions of DTRH, and especially the acoustic one from the VH1 sessions. Love, love CLYG!!! Except for the production. They shouldn't have drawn those insane vocals ....

Can't Let You Go rips my heart out every time. I remember that tweet by Claude Kelly, saying that Adam was on his knees in the studio recording it, and by the end of the song, he was in tears. He really got into it.

Does anyone know why Adam never sang "Can't let You Go" live? I even don't remember him talking about it... Was it a song he absolutely hated or just didn't want to perform because it has/had such a personal message?

I ask this because it's my favorite of FYE and I would have loved him performing it.

Agree with this, would love to hear this live....I adore this song, especially the wailing part at the end.

Every time this song comes on my Ipod, I have to replay it at least 2 or 3 times, can't get enough.

I'm so excited about the new album, but I have to say that I just love FYE. Loved all the songs, except for maybe Aftermath initially, and that one grew on me after hearing the acoustic versions.

Adam did great on his first album, and it looks like he only improved when he did his second.

Hmm, what does that mean for his third????
