Ya the security is more obvious now. Pretty much None in Spokane, but they were present and in plain site in LA


Understandable, though, because there are bigger crowds, more people to attend to.

At Haleyfans.com, Buzz reported that Haley performed two song, "Wasted Tears" and "Free" and he guessed about 200 people. It seems the number of songs you see will vary, and maybe that was disappointing to some, expecting more.



In Spokane it didn't really dawn on me, at the time, that she only performed 3 songs (at that time she was performing 4 or 5). I was so excited at the meeting and listening to her live, it wasn't a thought in my mind about the number of songs I just saw.

It also depends on the organization/communication in the venue and it's staff. Security was probably a concern in such a big venue. In LA, the staff at the Hard Rock had differing information, even the guys setting up the signing area, had little if not confusing information. As I reported then, it seemed fluid, and there was no way to tell, if getting you there early, got you the right info. I don't think they have the same organizer at all the events. Spokane and LA, there were two different people 'handling' their respective events. The only same people were Haley, Keith and Courtney.

I wonder if the number of songs are pre planned or if they are determined day of? In LA, right before she performed HORTS, Haley leaned over to Courtney, said a few things, then into the mic, something like, "we're going to do an extra one for you" , which had some in the crowd shouting out "Undone" and "Spiderweb"....I think the extra was "Oh Darling"

Could be crowd size, time limit for the venue, scheduling to next event, performer's decision etc. determines the number of songs...

It kind of depends on your expectations though. It sounded like Buzz enjoyed himself

As I expected, it's who ever's organizing the event. It was like what happened at LA but to a much bigger degree, as far as fluid information.

At the Hard Rock, I was told they were going to clear the entire place out and have people line up again, so I lost the 'primo' spot I staked out at the bar. They did no such clearing (I wondered and asked about that...were they going to kick people out in the middle of a meal? ).

And then the times/locations got changed for when/where they were going to allow the line to form. Before I knew it, even though I'd waited and asked questions for parts of 4 hours, there was a line forming outside with at least 20 people, and I was never told .

(I was extra serendipitous that day, though, so it didn't bother me)

A full week of non-stop activities thru last night. I was one of the first ones for the signing at Hard Rock and that was at 11PM. bet it took another hour to get that finished and out of there...midnight. Saying goodbye to family & friends bet she didn't get settled in for the night until 2 AM. Must have had an early morning flight to Minneapolis to get to the MOA before 2 PM. And then the confusion of where the stage would be set. I bet she's ready for much needed a break.

Glad I had a super-primo experience of the day with her adrenelin pumping for her hometown crowd.

Courtney Leonard is Haley's music director, I think. He has a laptop nearby to play the backing music and back up vocals you hear. He plays the bass for her as well, and sat in on the drums ealier this week. Nice guy, in Spokane, at the front desk, he came up to me to shake my hand after I introduced myself and explained how I knew them

Sounds like one of those gigs that happen sometimes.Poorly organized and on top of that its after a late night and a plane trip to boot.It was quite a week for her though.
