Group: Members Posts: 120 Gender: Female	I just wish he would STOP singing 90's r&b songs. Its kinda lame... like boyz II men, bobby brown and monica.. also i wish he would sing the same songs on the show he sang with his music group. Switch it up please!! --------------------

In all seriousness though, some of his best Clef Hanger stuff is the modern R&B/hip hop stuff like Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, T-Pain, etc. It's one of the reasons I think he'd be a great winner - he could totally be on the radio today doing that sort of thing. --------------------

AI 8: Noopy-D	My Prerogative is from the 80s Anyways, his genre is r+b and while many of us would like to hear him sing more current stuff, he can't ONLY sing that. He's gotta do stuff from other decades as well. Look how well doing Sara Bareilles and Coldplay turned out for Jasmine and Matt. Usually they recommend recent songs, but not very current ones because it draws too much of a comparison in viewers' minds. I meant that for the OP... that most of the songs sung frequently on Idol are from the '90s, so it's not too valid of a criticism.
