Yeah, I knew it was him as soon as Ryan said the results would be disappointing to a lot of people.
Casey wasn't one of the frontrunners, but many people found him very entertaining. --------------------

HE took it so happily though... He just knew..
Is it just me or didn´t he care anymore? The exit performance was so all over the place. He was a frontrunner so early on! Even EW predicted he would win and now he is out like that. Even the goodbye package didn´t showcase Casey´s best moments. American Idol just used him for a while. I am so sick of this show. Using people for entertainment and not really helping them evolve. and improve --------------------

Not gonna lie, I cried but for some reason it wasn't sad tears. It was more like i'm so proud of him tears. He will def get signed, and he's gonna go so far. This is only the begining.

His exit just proves what a classy and awesome guy he is. Win or lose, I was going to support him either way. Just a bit bummed I won't be seeing him on Idol next week. I'm so proud of him!

I'm very upset.
Tbh, I had a feeling he was going to leave tonight all day today. Like TetrisMaster said in a post earlier that if Casey gets eliminated atleast he would get eliminated for a performance that was him, and that was the case. I'm very proud of us Casey fans to bringing him to the Top 6.  Kudos to us all! I loved the way he handled the elimination and also, he sang IPASOY as his 'swan song.' AMAZING. BEST. EXIT. EVER. Right now, I'm just so grateful he lasted this long! He was so close to being eliminated, but we got an extra 5 weeks out of him, which is incredible!! The save was so not wasted

I'm still upset as well
but I'm not really surprised he went home.But: he made it to the top 6! That's fantastic. He stuck around a lot longer than a week after his save, we have some amazing performances from him, and he'll be at the finale & on the tour. --------------------
