By then it was morning, and she finally woke up. She had a day off. She couldn’t decide whether she was going to use her day off to prepare for her first live performance or spend it with her newfound love. Haley found out today that she would be performing in group two, luckily for her, Adam was also in that group with her. She finally got ready to leave the room when Adam came through the window. She gasped. Then she turned around to find out that it was Adam, and was soon relieved. Adam finally looked into her eyes and asked, “You know what I want to do on my day off?”
Haley looked at him confused again, trying to figure out what he was asking. “What, Adam?” “What do you want to do on our day off?” He stared right into her eyes and walked closer to Haley as if he rehearsed this. “Adam, what are you.” Adam cut her off and placed his icy cold index finger on her lips. “No more questions”. Then, he finally leaned in closer to her, breathing his ice cold breath on her neck, placed his stony lips on them and began to nibble on her soft skin and looks at her “That tasted, nice”. Of course Haley didn’t mind either. He soon began to work his way down her neck to her chest, and then finally to her breasts. Haley looked up at him shocked. “Adam. Excuse you.” He looked up at her “Sorry, I haven’t felt this way for a woman in a long, long time.” He apologized. She looked up him and gave him a peck on the lips. “You’re forgiven”. Adam looked at her with his beautiful eyes and a half-smile that she couldn’t resist. She looked at him and asked “Adam, have I told you how much I love you?” He looked up at her and tears welled up in his eyes. His emotions sank as he slowly sat on the edge of the hotel bed. Finally, the tears rolled down his face. Haley couldn’t do anything but feel for him. She was in complete awe that yes, vampires too, cry. Slowly, he put his head in his hands and said a quiet. “No.”
She then put her left hand on his left shoulder and asked him softly “What’s the matter, Adam?” With his head still buried in his hands, he cried like no one was watching. Haley just sat there and looked at him cry for an entire three minutes. Finally, he stopped crying. Then, he finally looked up at her with dampened, red, eyes. “Haley, please understand what I’m going to tell you.” Haley then slowly released her hand off of his shoulder. And she stared right into his big, beautiful, crystal green eyes. As the room grew silent, he started to find the right words to say. “Haley, I don’t know how to tell this to you, you’re not the first woman to tell me that they loved me. Haley looked at him strangely. She thought, how couldn’t they love him he was beautiful. “Haley, you’re the only woman I’ve felt attracted to in a long, long time, possibly ever.” Haley was in complete shock, she couldn’t understand why he would say this to a person he just met. She looked down looking more puzzled than ever. “Adam, haven’t you dated other women before?” Still confused, she asked still looking down. He took his hand and put it on her cheek, and turned her head up to face it in his direction. “No, Haley. I was gay in my human life.” Haley was even more confused. She sighed. “Then why now, Adam?” she asked. Adam just looked at her. “I hoped that you would understand.” She looked at him and replied “Adam, I do understand. I just don’t understand why, Why Adam? Why change now?!” She grew impatient trying to wonder why. “Because, I’m not a human anymore, Haley” he replied.
