 Tonight’s show is at SOUTH SHORE MUSIC CIRCUS Cohasset is located on the "corner" of the South Shore, where greater Boston Harbor ends and Massachusetts Bay begins. The shore is rocky, with many small ledges and rocks lying offshore. Cohasset covers a nine square-mile area and has retained much of its small-town character with a beautifully preserved town common, quaint village shopping area and breathtaking vistas along its rocky coastline. Largely a summer resort, Cohasset has a population of less than 10,000 Several movies have been filmed in Cohasset. Among them: The Witches of Eastwick (1987), starring Cher, Susan Sarandon, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Jack Nicholson. HouseSitter (1992), starring Goldie Hawn and Steve Martin. The Venue For nearly 60 years, the South Shore Music Circus and it’s sister venue, the Cape Cod Melody Tent, have been presenting world-class entertainment in the scenic Massachusetts coastal communities of Cohasset and Hyannis. The only two continuously-operated tent theatres in the round in the United States, the Music Circus and Melody Tent are owned and operated by the South Shore Playhouse Associates, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to encouraging and supporting the arts, cultural and educational organizations throughout the communities of the South Shore and Cape Cod. Not a clue, I've never been there. It looks like a cool venue though. I'm trying for tickets to this, it's an hour from my best friend's house.
 She's not a huge Adam fan, but she's very tolerant of my love for him, and she loves Fever. And she actually requested that we go together. Who am I to deny her that experience??  --------------------

I got tickets today at the member pre-sale. They are in the 8th row. I'd hoped to get closer after spending $100 to join the "club", but it's a pretty small venue (less than 2000, I think) and it looks like all seats are pretty good.
I talked to someone in the box office and asked about the rotating stage. She said concerts usually start and end with the performers facing the side *opposite* the orchestra on the map. The stage CAN rotate, but it is up to each individual show whether they want to use the rotation and how fast they rotate (once around, twice around, etc.). She also said the "fan club pre-sale" is this Wed. and will be handled through everyone's favorite ticketseller, Ticketmaster. Ugh. So it looks like the scalpers will get involved in this one too. Sales to the general public are on Sat. May 15. --------------------

I was really tempted to do the membership thing, but I'm pushing it by going to multiple shows, I really couldn't swing the extra $100. I don't think there's much to be done about where our seats are, we're lucky if we even get seats, but that'll be good info to have if I do manage to get tickets. --------------------

Anyone get anything in the presale? I tried for half an hour and no luck.
The one time I managed to get something, I had accidentally put that I wanted one seat instead of two, so I couldn't take it.  I'm so mad at myself for that! I might keep trying, I'm just really frustrated, and the single seat I managed to pull up was in Row U, and that was at 10:15 probably, so everything's probably gone by now...--------------------
