BREAKING: Adam Lambert Becomes The New Lead Singer Of Queen

Well, it’s happened America!! Rolling Stone is reporting that American Idol runner-up and favorite person to drink on-camera martinis with, Adam Lambert, has announced that he is going to be replacing the late Freddie Mercury as the lead singer of Queen.

It's pathetic and kind of funny at the same time, when you have US newspapers, blogs and other news organization that continually call Adam the American Idol winner, when they should know better. Although I think he should have won, it's still shoddy journalism when they don't check their facts before releasing a newstory.

I can only imagine how he or his fans feel. He should be given his due and at least recognized as the winner of season 8 of American Idol. It pissed me off when Adam lost, but in the end, it couldn't have worked out any better, because look at where Adam is today. He's an International star, getting ready to release his second album, going to tour with his band and do some concerts with QUEEN.

As per usual, I agree completely with you Kimberly! I would not go out of my way to see Adam perform with Queen, unless he came near to where I live which is very doubtful. I have and would go far and wide to see Adam perform his own songs tho', in his OWN tour! I suspect there will be backlash from Queen fans and Adam fans if this is going to b an extensive tour. I am not interested in Queen.

I agree. However, it doesn't look like it'll be a tour, which is good news to those of us who want Adam on his own. Rolling Stone spoke to Hollywood Records, which, I believe, is Queen's record label, and they said that nothing's been signed with Adam, and IF anything happens, it'll be just the Sonisphere Festival from July 6 - 8. No tour.

Just a reminder - this is was Adam said some time ago:

I don't think anyone is missing that......

Most fans , me included, are aware his music is front and center for him and for the fans.....

I just think he can do both.....want him to have it all !!!!

His solo music and his experience with Queen......IMO he also wants both....with his music as #1
