Turn me loose, and Paulini quits the Young Divas
WHEN the Young Divas recorded their last track, Turn Me Loose, sounds like singer Paulini Curuenavuli took them literally. A founding member of the Australian Idol spin-off sister act, Curuenavuli's exit follows in the footsteps of Ricki-Lee Coulter and more recently Jessica Mauboy, who also left the girl band to pursue solo careers. Her departure leaves Emily Williams and the embattled Kate DeAraugo, who recently fell off the Jenny Craig diet wagon, as the only remaining Divas. The news could get worse for the duo, with rumours the two will be dumped and the group rebuilt from scratch. Curuenavuli's manager Nicole Hart claimed her client's decision to split was an "evolution" in her music career. While the declared Christian worked prominently during the recent World Youth Day festivities, she has recorded her last song for any future Diva recordings. And pre-empting suggestions of a bitchy fallout between the four singers, Hart said Curuenavuli's decision to leave "is totally amicable with the other girls. She just wants to continue on with her solo career. There is no animosity, there is nothing negative." Divas' manager David Champion was upbeat saying: "The spirit of the Young Divas will live on in a new incarnation with a third album once the new line-up is finalised.  hooray! Paulini solo again -- thank heavens. Jessica has the sense to go solo too, Ricki Lee has already done so. Does this mean that Sony wil at last give Kate her next solo album and will Emily get to do an album or single now??--------------------

Yep! Great news that Paulini's doing her own thing again.
Cant wait to hear her new album when it finally comes out! Note that Paulini has also negotiated her way out of her contract with Sony/BMG and is now operating as an independent artist. This also means the old Sony/BMG Paulini site has closed (not that anyone will miss it LOL) and the closest thing she has to an official site now is the fansite at www.paulini.info. It's still an unofficial site but is in touch with Paulini and her new managers so check there for the latest news. Go the indie Paulini!!!  --------------------

I totally just remembered my password and logged back into these forums!!
Ohhh the years have passed. lol. It was hard remembering who was in the previous Idols to put down who was my faves again hehe. Who liked Paulini on X-Factor singing her duet with Ronan?  (I don't like the song..  .. but still love her! )--------------------

FORMER IDOL PAULNI IS BACK WITH A BANGING NEW SONG AND A SMOKING HOT NEW BOD [sounds famular Ricki-Lee but good on Paulini] subtitle I'm a size 10 [as Pauline was given a size 10 Herve Leger bandage dress for the photoshoot to go with the article and to Paulini's surprise it fitted. Get yourself a copy of OK Magazine if you want to know more [i could not find the article on line yet to copy for posting here. Fireman the single will be released on ITunes on Februrary 10th --------------------
